I wake up to the sound of car's beeping horns at each other. Traffic.
"Hey," Maya greets me up. I look over towards Lucas and then Auggie and they look like twins. Honestly.
"Hey, did you bring my laptop? I think I wanna start my paper." I ask
As Maya hands me my paper I begin to type for this is over with. Within 20 minutes I'm done and we've barely moved.. It reads
"Most people think the books are stupid and that the movies are better. For me, it's not. A book has more information with everything than the movie. The story line gone deeper into the story. You can learn more about the characters, plot, etc. Most movies become what they're like because of the books coming to life. For example, The Hunger Games, Twilight, Harry Potter, etc. In this projectI am going to compare and contrast Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire to book v.s. movie.
Somethings that are different between the movie and the are that when Harry got the first nightmare. The nightmare with Voldemort killing the poor old man. In the book Harry wakes up at the Dursley's, waiting to go to the Burrow later in the day. When Harry wakes, his scar is burning but it's the middle of the night. During the movie, Hermione arrives at the burrow early in the morning, wakes up Harry from sturring in this sleep. So when he wakes up to Hermione, his scar is burning, and it's morning. Since they were at the burrow Hermione wakes Ron up next. In this case, the settings are totally different. Another event that happened during the book that was different than the movie is when the death eaters attacked after the Quittch World Cup. Once again, during the book, everybody was sleeping. Everybody (Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Fred, George, and Mr. Weasely.) is awake, out of the tent, Harry, Hermione, and Ron all run towards the forest. In the forest Harry loses his wand and a house-elf gets it. Soon the dark-mark comes up. During the movie, everybody was awake and partying. Almost every person was celebrating. Then evreybody was out of the tent, but Harry gets lost in the crown, gets trampled, and passes out. Once Harry is awake, the dark mark comes up in the sky.
This is why I personally believe the books are better than the movies."
By the time I'm done re-reading it we are finally off and going.
~ a couple hours later ~
"Guys! We're here! C'mon get out!" Farkle saids
It's like Auggie was waiting for those words because he jumps out and gets out of the car, but Lucas does totally different
"Riley wake your BOYFRIEND up" Maya said to me. I can feel myself starting to blush. I can't believe I'm almost 16 and I still blush over this stuff.
As I start to shake Lucas, he still won't budge.
"I wanna go to the gift shopppppppp!" Auggie is whining now, great.
"Umm why don't you guys take him to the gift shop and I'll keep trying to wake him up." I reply
As Maya and them start to walk off, I still try to wake Lucas up, but yet nothing. It came down to this. I take a deep breath and connect my lips with his. His eyes burst open, soon to see it's me and contuines to kiss back. As I pull away I say, "There's so many people, I think I'm going to change."
I'm wearing a tie-dyed shorts with a The Fault In Our Stars Shirt and tons of bracelets. I don't know if I could really do this, mentally. He looks me deep in the eyes.
"Riley, you're the best beautiful girl I've ever layed my eyes on. You're not fat and we can make it through this together. I promise. Hold my hand every time you feel like it and give it a little squeeze and I'll help get you out of there. Okay?"
"Okay... Thank you."
As we get out of the car to find the others, I look around and see all the people around us. I don't want to seem like a baby so I don't even bother with squeezing Lucas' hand, I should be one of the confident girls Lucas wants to be like, so that's what I'll act like. When we get into the store, I can already tell this is a tourist shop and Auggie will want to buy everything.
Soon I hear Farkle calling our names while Maya and Auggie are in the heck out line.
"I hope he didn't spend too much money."
"Don't worry, he only got a key chain part to go with his 100 others."
"Of course," I answer as I roll my eyes, I should've known.
As we check out everything and take a lot of pictures, we go on the Maid Of The Mist. After that we decide to eat something
