This was the second time Ingleseid had been in Morganstone's secret little base, and thankfully he wasn't tied up and held at gunpoint this time. Morganstone led them down a narrow corridor into a tucked away room with monitors and computers stacked on top of each other as if they were having a competition to see who could reach the ceiling first.

"This is...cosy," Holly commented.

"It's where me and Felix handle our normal cases," Morganstone explained.

"Felix?"

"Felix!" she yelled. "Visitors!"

A little man peered out from behind the monitors like a nervous rabbit. His big brown eyes gleamed behind almost comically large glasses, freckles showering his face in alarming frequency. He slowly took off his headphones and stood up.

"Sorry," he said quickly. "I was just working on the track-" but the words died in his tongue when his eyes landed on Holly. "Oh my gosh!" he almost squealed. "Oh my gosh- it's you!"

"Me?" Holly asked slowly, not entirely sure what was so special about her, which was understandable, Ingleseid thought. After all, she'd never met herself.

"Holly Fawkes," Felix said, in case she'd forgotten her own name.

"You know her?" Morganstone asked, a tad suspiciously.

"Know her? She's only, like, the most famous witch in all of Setan city."

"I am?" Holly asked.

He nodded ecstatically. "All the other witches talk about you. Is it true you can cast an Underplane prevention spell?"

"Yeah, actually," she said, trying and failing to hide the smile creeping up her face.

"Oh my gosh. That is, like, so advanced. You're a genius, you really are. I'm a huge fan." He stuck out his hand. "Felix Rosenshaw."

"Excuse Felix," Morganstone said coldly. "He hasn't exactly figured out how to talk to adults."

"No, it's okay," Holly said quickly. "So, I assume you're into magic?" she asked Felix.

"I try," he said, looking at his shoes. "I'm not nearly as good as you, though. Can-can you do the fire thing?" Behind him, Morganstone rolled her eyes.

Holly grinned. "Sure."

Her arms lit up, and this time Ingleseid was fairly certain Felix did squeal.

"That is so cool!"

It was at this moment that Ingleseid decided he really didn't like Felix. He was too small, his voice was annoying, and his face quite frankly disturbed Ingleseid. Not too mention Holly smiled way too often around him.

"Felix," Morganstone said before the man had a heart attack. "We need your help."

"Yeah, right," Felix said, tearing his eyes away from the flames licking their way up Holly's arms. "Anything."

"Great," Morganstone said. "Let's go kill Pinocchio."

"I can't believe I'm going on a mission with Holly Fawkes!" Felix said as they drove to the funhouse, and Ingleseid had never had such a strong desire to murder a man in cold blood.

"How did you get into magic, Felix?" Holly asked.

He looked down. "Well, I wasn't exactly popular at high school-"

"I find that incredibly hard to believe," Ingleseid said. Holly shot him a look.

But Felix continued as if he hadn't heard him, "And there was this guy- Robert Butcher. He used to hassle me everyday, and I thought if I studied enough, I could turn him into a toad."
