Lillian leaned on a balcony in a restaurant, watching the cars go by, she had been waiting for an hour for a date to show up, but they were a no show, but she was always one to give them the benefit of the doubt, so here she waited, she'd asked a waitress in tears if she could come out to the balcony and let her know when her date was here, so there she sat, checking her watch every few minutes that passed, before slowly leaning back and then standing up straight, instead trying to distract herself by watching some birds in a nearby tree, when you walked in.
