Belgium and Luxembourg were out on a mission to buy some delicious chocolate. They had been craving it for days and couldn't resist the temptation any longer. They were browsing through the store, admiring all the different types of chocolates when they suddenly heard a voice behind them.
"What are you two doing here? You should be at home studying or something!" It was their big brother, Netherlands.
Belgium and Luxembourg froze, feeling guilty for disobeying their brother. "We were just buying some chocolate, Netherlands. We'll be home soon," Belgium said, trying to sound innocent.
Netherlands wasn't convinced. "Nice try, but I know you two too well. You're up to something. Come with me, now!" he ordered, grabbing their arms and dragging them out of the store.
Belgium and Luxembourg exchanged a look, knowing that they had to escape from their brother's grasp. They hatched a plan to run away and meet up at a secret spot later that day.
As soon as they were outside, they broke free and ran in opposite directions. They knew that they couldn't stay out too long, but they couldn't resist the temptation of chocolate.
However, their plan didn't go as smoothly as they hoped. They were caught by Netherlands while they were sneaking back into their house.
"I knew you two would try something like this. You're both grounded for a week!" Netherlands scolded, shaking his head in disappointment.
Belgium and Luxembourg hung their heads in shame, knowing that they had been caught red-handed. They promised to never disobey their brother again and went to their rooms to reflect on their actions.
