Total Drama: Survivor

Chapter 3

Heather, Justin, Trent & Sierra followed the trail of blood into the forest. After a few minutes, they heard shallow breathing from behind a bush. There lay Cody, clutching a stab wound on his stomach. "CODY-KINS!!! NOOOOOO!!!" wailed Sierra. Heather angrily shushed her. "Shut up! Do you WANT the killer to find us?" Sierra then resorted to silent sobs & sniffles. "Quick! We need something to stop the bleeding, at least until we can go back to the mess hall." Justin promptly took off his shirt. "Really, man? Now is not the time!" said Trent. Justin then kneeled down beside Cody & wrapped the wound with his shirt. He then got up & said, "I'm not as shallow as you think I am. I do have a heart." said Justin. Heather cut in. "Trent, can you go & get some bandages from the infirmary tent?" "Yeah, sure." he replied.

Trent reached the infirmary tent & started searching for the bandages. Having suffered many injuries during his time on Total Drama, he had spent quite a lot of time in the infirmary & knew the layout well. Soon, he found the bandages. As he was heading back, he noticed the silhouette of a figure hiding among the trees. "Who's there?" He blinked. The figure was gone. "Huh, I probably imagined it." he said to himself. But he didn't know that the figure had reappeared right behind him.

"Ugh, where is he?" Heather said frustratedly. It had been over 10 minutes since Trent went to get the bandages. He hadn't returned yet. the blood had soaked through the shirt. Cody was slowly losing consciousness, & if he didn't get help soon, he would never wake up. "You don't think he might have....." said Justin. He left the question hanging in the air, but Heather knew what he meant. "I'll go check. You stay here with Sierra & Cody." With that, Heather got up & went to go look for Trent.

After walking a short distance, Heather found a roll of bandages lying on the ground. "Trent?"she called out. "Where are you?" No answer. She looked around. She would have gone searching, but Cody was running out of time. She turned & ran back to where Cody lay injured. She, Justin & Sierra quickly unrolled the bandages & dressed the wound. Sierra hugged Cody tightly. "Oh, my Cody-kins......" she murmured. "Sierra.... you're crushing me...." said Cody in a raspy voice. She gently picked him up. "Where's Trent?" asked Justin. "He's disappeared!" exclaimed Heather. " When we go back to the mess hall, we'll organize a search party to look for him. But for now, let's go!"
