while you were looking at the drinks two particular person, who you saw this morning, came in. the green clothing bard and captain kaeya. the green cloth bard who diluc talked about earlier was... venti? but why? he seemed like a nice person... well he said "under any circumstances" so something must've happened before. you should just listen to diluc.
"hey Y/N! i didn't expect to see you again so soon! how have you been?"
"i've been very well thank you! how about you?"
"i've been great too! oh and i forgot to introduce; this is my friend, kaeya!" he says pointing at captain kaeya.
"o- oh umm nice to meet you!"
"so! could you get us some drinks?"
"uhh diluc told me to not give you drinks under any circumstances... so i can't i'm sorry..." you say looking at venti.
"ugh! why?! curse you diluc..." he protests.
just then a customer walks in. venti looks at her and says "ah! traveler! we meet again!"
i didn't know who this traveler was. it kind of made me feel left out but... i'm just a side character... nothing more...
after some time passes you start to clean the glasses of the customers that left already. kaeya bought drinks to venti and they were drinking while chatting random things. you didn't put too much thought in their conversation. the traveler girl already left but you still felt like something was wrong. was it... jealousy? no, no, no, no... it can't be... i mean you just met this guy so... why are you jealous?
venti seems to realize your distraction. you were just standing there with the cup in your hand.
"Y/N? are you alright?"
you get off of your mind with his words.
"huh..? oh yeah i'm fine... i just got little tired" you chuckle a little. it was kind of a nervous chuckle but you were hoping for him to no realize. at least not push it...
"you don't look tired at all. you know you can talk to me if anything has been bothering you, right?"
"yeah... yeah i know, i'm fine, really..." you smile at him to show him you're fine. he looks concerned but he just sighs and get back to the conversation with kaeya. you put the glass down, where it belongs, and go to the back of the tavern. you wanted some alone time for yourself and gather your thoughts together. you locked the door behind yourself and sit down. tears were starting to fall down from your eyes... why were you crying over a man you just met...?
