Areesh's POV:
I walked inside the hall only to stop finding both girls and boys section mixed. Why the hell would Ammi and Mimi send me in a mixed gathering? Oh Allah. I took a deep breath before moving ahead. I took a chair and went to the corner of the hall to be away from the crowd. I started using my phone and was waiting for the stage to get a little less crowded so that I give the gift and leave from here. I hate gatherings I swear. And here it was cherry on the top with mixed gathering. I was busy in my phone when I heard a voice.
"F***ing heck! This has to die now only." I turned to the source of voice to find a girl cursing her phone while glaring at her. But I shouldn't have turned. Because she is an epitome of beauty. Masha Allah. She was wearing simple suit with a matching Hijab. I don't know why but Hijab spreads a different glow on girls'. And they look surreal. It's so hard to find people wearing Hijab in this country. This is giving me 'us' vibes. Weird. It's the first time I'm looking at a girl and I haven't looked away. I turned to my phone when I found her looking around.
"And these girls has to leave me alone at this time." I pressed my lips to stop myself from smiling. I don't know why but I'm finding her complaints cute.
"I don't know who will help me in this weird wedding. Oh Allah, I feel so alone." I chuckled inwardly hearing her. Oh Allah. She is weirdly cute. After few seconds I heard her voice.
"Excuse me?" Is she talking to me? I looked up to find her standing in front of me with a hope in her eyes. Oh Allah, those eyes are dominating. Areesh, look away. She is not your Mehram.
"Yes." I said and she took a deep breath.
"Can I... use your phone for a call?" She asked and I nodded my head immediately.
"Yeah sure. Here." I said passing my phone to her who smiled lightly at me. Oh Allah, what am I doing? I haven't ever let anyone use my phone before. Not to a stranger at least. She was typing the number when it rang and she looked up at me. But it stopped ringing making me frown.
"Someone is calling you." She said looking at me and I smiled.
"You can-"
"And I accidentally received it." She said looking back at the phone and I smiled.
"You can cut the call and make your call." I said smiling at her and she kept looking at me then nodded her head. She dialled the number and went a bit far to talk. After some time she came back with a smile on her face making my heartbeat increase. Oh my Allah! Can someone's smile be this appealing? Masha Allah.
"Thank you so much for the help." She said passing me the phone and I smiled.
"Your welcome." I said smiling at her and she left. I wonder what Allah has planned that HE is making me feel all these things. Wait, Areesh. It shouldn't be like this. You cannot get attracted towards someone just by their looks. It's lust. I shook my head to remove my thoughts and dialled Mimi's number who was calling me and rolled my eyes hearing her as soon as she picked the call.
"Have you met your girl, man?" I sighed. That girl did a mistake by picking her call I swear.
"No. Now tell me for what you've called." I said leaning on my chair and heard her sighing.
"Leave it. That's not important right now. You tell me, why was your phone with another person, that too a girl, bro?" She asked making me roll my eyes.
"Nothing, bro. I was just helping her. She wanted to call someone and I gave my phone to her. Simple." I said shrugging my shoulders but I know it's not simple as I'm showing.
"You?" And there she goes. I rolled my eyes hearing her.
"Ash, are you sure it was you?" I sighed and rubbed my face.
