Azrin's POV:
I looked at him who was standing and sighed.
"I told you to go. Your Ammi needs you." I said and he smiled lightly.
"I know but you guys leave first." He said smiling at me and I sighed. Germina told me that his mother has Brain Tumor. So something might have happened to her.
"See, Cara aslo came. Go now." He said pointing at the car which stopped in front of us. I sighed and took my seat inside with Deli who was lost somewhere.
"Bye, guys. Take care." I looked at him who waved at us and sighed. He should take care of himself and he is saying that to me.
"Bye, Areesh." Cara said smiling lightly at him and he nodded his head. We left from there and I turned to them who were weirdly silent today.
"What happened to you guys?" I asked them and they turned to me.
"Huh?" My brows frowned seeing Deli's eyes wet. What the hell is going on?
"Deli, what's going on?" I asked her whose throat moved.
"Nothing. Will tell you later." She said wiping her tears and I sighed looking at Cara who herself sighed.
"Do you guys know what happened to Areesh's mother?" I asked them after some time and they turned to me then sighed shaking their heads.
"Weirdly, Germina also didn't know about this." Cara said looking at me and I nodded my head. I hope everything is fine. After some time we reached home and I turned to Cara and Deli who stopped in front of the door.
"You guys are acting weird." I said and they turned to me.
"Cara, I can't do this." Deli said shaking her hear at her and I frowned. What's happening?
"What are you guys hiding?" I asked looking at Cara who sighed closing her eyes.
"Let's go inside first." Cara said wrapping her arms around us and I looked at her with frowns when I found her eyes tearing up.
"Cara, you are scaring me." I whispered looking at her who looked down while pressing her lips.
"Let's go please." I heard Deli's shaky voice and sighed.
"No I want to know first. I'm not going inside." I said sternly and they sighed.
"Azzu please." Cara pleaded while tears made their ways on her cheeks making my eyes tear up. I have never seen her cry.
"No tell me first." I said looking at her and she sighed looking on the other side.
"Deli. At least you tell me." I said turning to Deli who was looking at me with teary eyes.
"Uncle Dan." My head jerked towards Cara hearing her while my heart started beating fast. With fear. Fear of losing him. I kept looking at her for some time trying to grasp whatever she said. I felt my body going numb.
"Wha-what about... Abbu?" I stuttered while my vision got blurry. I don't want to lose him. I'm not ready, Allah.
"We don't know anything, girl. We have to go inside to know that." Cara said wiping my tears while Deli caressed my back. I bit my lips shaking my head while looking down. I closed my eyes letting those tears out when I felt them hugging me.
"He can be fine too, girl. Let's go inside first." Cara said caressing my back and I kept looking at her who wiped my tears which were not ready to stop. And they won't stop either. I took a deep breath before entering inside only to find the hall empty. My hold tightened on Cara's hand who herself pressed my hand. We walked towards Ammi's room but stopped when we found Abraham Bhai standing at the end of the hall. He turned and my eyes teared up more when I found his face wet.
