Areesh's POV:

I looked at the doctor who took Ammi inside for the check up and I sat down outside the room. After some time I was about to walk inside when I heard Ammi.

"Don't tell these to my son. He keeps wasting his money on me." I sighed and walked inside making them turn to me.

"He is your son. If he doesn't spend his money on you then on whom will he do that?" The doctor said to her and she sighed looking at me.

"What's the condition, doctor?" I asked sitting beside Ammi and she smiled.

"It's the same. But the good thing is there hasn't been any growth." She said making me smile widely.  Alhamdulillah.

"Is it because of the medicines?" I asked and she smiled.

"May be. I told you before. It might not disappear fully but the growth can be stopped." She said smiling at me making me smile widely. Allah tera shukar.

"But it's not like it won't grow." I looked at her hearing her.

"It will grown big as she ages." I nodded my head with a smile.

"I know. I'll accept that. With medicines, I have more time to be with her, right?" I asked looking at Ammi who was looking at me.

"You have. But it still depends on HIM, right?" I nodded my head. Right. Everything is in HIS hands.

"I know at the end of the day, everything happens as HE wants. But I'll try my best to make her stay with me. For as long as possible." I said looking at Ammi who looked down wiping her tears. Oh Allah rehem. After some time we walked out of the hospital and I turned to Ammi when I heard her.

"Khush?" I smiled widely looking at her.

(Happy?)

"Aisa waisa khush. Saatwe aasman par hun main abhi." I said smiling at her who chuckled looking down.

(Normally happy? I'm flying on the cloud nine.)

"Aap ko badi jaldi thi mujhe chod kar jaane ki." I said looking at her who looked at me then smiled lightly.

(You were so eager to leave me.)

"Bhala koi Maa aisa chahegi?" I shook my head hearing her and held her hand to walk ahead.

(Will any mother want that?)

"Ab aap ko mujhe kuch maheene aur zyada jhelna hai." I said while making her sit inside the car and she rolled her eyes.

(Now you'll have to bear me for few more months.)

"Bakwas band karo aur baitho." She said making me smile.

(Stop talking rubbish and sit.)

"Are main to asliyat bata raha hun, Ammi." I said smiling at her while taking my seat inside and closed the door.

(I'm staring truth, Ammi.)

After some time we reached home. I frowned when I found her lost in her thoughts.

"Kin khayalon mein khoyin hain, Ammi?" I asks sitting beside her and she turned to me.

(Where are you lost, Ammi?)

"Apnon ki yaad aa rahi hai." I looked at her weirdly.

(I'm missing our relatives.)

"Kaise apne? Konse apne, Ammi?"

(Which relatives? Which relatives, Ammi?)

"Jinhone hamari khairiyat tak nahi li Abbu ke guzarne ke baad."
