Rei finally have the opportunity to reveal her secret to Yuki but Rei's heart sank as Yuki's mother called them down for dinner, interrupting her moment of bravery. She had been so close to telling her friend about her powers, but now the opportunity was lost.

As they ate, Rei couldn't help but feel disappointed with herself. She had been so determined to reveal her secret to Yuki, but now it seemed like she would never find the right moment.

After dinner, Yuki's mother asked Rei if she wanted to stay for a while longer, but Rei declined, saying that she had to get home. Yuki walked her to the door, giving her a hug before she left.

Rei walked home, lost in thought. She wondered if she would ever find the courage to tell Yuki about her powers. As she reached her house, she noticed that her parents weren't home yet, giving her some time to think.

She went up to her room and sat on her bed, staring out the window. The sun was setting, casting a warm glow over the neighborhood. Rei sighed, feeling conflicted.

On one hand, she wanted to tell someone about her powers. She had been keeping them a secret for so long, and it was exhausting. But on the other hand, she was afraid of what might happen if she did. Would people be afraid of her? Would they try to exploit her powers for their own gain?

Rei didn't have the answers to these questions. All she knew was that she couldn't keep this secret forever. She had to tell someone eventually.

But for now, she would keep her powers hidden. Yuki would never know, and Rei would have to find another way to cope with her abilities.

As she lay down on her bed, Rei couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness. She had wanted to share this part of herself with her friend, but it seemed like the universe had other plans. For now, the secret remained, hidden away like a treasure in the depths of her soul.
