Y/N POV

It's been few days have passed since what happened to Ashly that night and things have been going so well because for the past few days, Ashly has been frequently coming to the bar whenever she has free time. We always have a friendly conversation, no flirty or any of those things, just a friendly one. And I also already knew the reason why she kept visiting our bar or rather she was visiting only for me.

Cause she likes me. But I still won't make a move on her or be in a relationship with her. Because I know she will find a better man than me.

Her relationship with that boy is still the same as ever. She's still trying to give him some hints and he still doesn't get it. I wouldn't blame him, to be honest. Sometimes when a girl compliments us, we don't know if she was just being friendly or being flirty since they are a bit unpredictable to us men. Including the ones that can hide their feelings very well.

And also Miya visited our bar, though it was only once just to thank me for taking care of Ashly that night and nothing else. I tried offering her some alcohol to kill some time but she refused since she said she will never drink one, so I politely and respectfully acknowledged it.

And I also can't relax ever since what happened earlier. . .

"I can't believe the boss was able to figure it out."
I quietly said.

I was a bit shocked by what my boss told me earlier. I was surprised and terrified by how quickly he was able to figure it out. . .

. . .-The reason why I have to travel there.

It even made me remember our conversation on the phone.

Before I left for my travel, I was currently at home back then, preparing to pack my things. Until I hear a sudden-. . .

.-*BEEP*

It caught my attention when I suddenly heard it on my phone.

"Y/N, I heard you're leaving now."

"Yeah, in a few hours,
I'll be leaving this country.
Right now, I'm just
preparing the things
I need to prepare."

"Sure you can handle it?
Japan is a big place, even Tokyo.
I hope you know how to speak there."

I chuckled at my boss's message since this wasn't the first time I'd been there (he should've already known about it since I told him about my past relationship with Ai, or perhaps not), and when I was about to message him something along the lines of 'don't worry about it'. I realized something.

How did he know I was gonna travel to Japan and more specifically, Tokyo?

HOW?!

Even I told him about my past relationship with Ai, nobody should've known where I was going except for my parents.

So I quickly type the message that I was about to send him. I was filled with shock while typing the letters a bit rush just to form the words. It caught me off guard once again.

"How did you know, I was
traveling to Japan?
Specifically, Tokyo?"

"Did you already forget?
That I am a man of my word, kid."
