It's been two years now and the first day of senior year. My mom is away for her job, so Jessica has been checking up on me. Before I went to school, I called my mom telling her how excited I was. "Mom this is the last year of high school and it's going to be the best year ever!" "I'm glad your excited honey, I'm sorry I couldn't be there with you. I still find it weird that the first day is on a Friday." "It's ok mom. I miss you and can't wait until you get back! I find it weird too, but at least tomorrow is Saturday." "I miss you too! I have to get back to work. I love you!" "I love you too!" I heard a honking outside, so I opened my door and saw Athena waiting for me in the car. "Wait, I thought I was driving us to school today." "Well, you took too long so I decided to pick you guys up. Now hurry so we can go get Ivy." "Okay, I'm coming."  I hopped in the passenger seat, and we drove to pick up Ivy and her annoying brother jake. When we got there Ivy and Jake were literally already fighting. "It's 8 in the morning and you guys are fighting." "She started it" Jake said as he stuck his tongue out. "Very mature. Get your butts in the car, I'll sit in the back with Jake." "Thank you, Nora!" Jake looked at me with a smirk "You like me, don't you?" "Ha you're funny! First off you are in ninth grade, second, I have a boyfriend and third you're like an annoying brother to me, so don't flatter yourself." Ivy started laughing so hard that she started coughing. Jake crossed his arms and stared at Ivy causing her to laugh more. Once we got to school Jake ran off to his friend group while we were in the parking lot looking for Ashton. Once we spotted him, he was having a conversation with this girl, but I wasn't bothered knowing that I could trust him.
