Prologue
"What are we going to do they are coming to take her away?" A lady in her mid-twenty’s asked her husband.
"You said that they only know about our daughter not are son right?" He asked his wife back while rushing upstairs to the nursery.
"That’s what she told me. She said when they came to take her she would go and adopt her. She said she will take care of her and send pictures and it’s the closest thing we will get to having her. She knows nothing about Alex. But I can't let them take her and when they see Alex they will take him too. I can't let them take them. They are only a month old and they are going to take them I can't let them take our children." she said trying to hold back tears.
"They know about her and only her. If I leave know with Alex then they won't know about him. We have a chance to save one of them." the man said trying to assure his wife while quickly throwing dippers into a baby bag and grabbing a blanket. He then goes to the black wood crib and lifts his baby boy into this arms he then lays the baby on the changing table and wraps him in the blanket. He then rushes out of the house carrying the baby boy.
The mother crying walks over to the white wood crib and pulls out the identical baby girl. She looks down and the baby who’s eyes are resting but snuggles closer to her. After staring back at the baby for a moment she gently walks to the changing table and lays the sleeping baby down and pulls out the baby’s favorite white and blue silk blanket and wraps the baby in it. She then grabs the baby’s blue and gold bag and fills it with dippers and a few dresses. The mother then lifts the baby and walks to her jewelry box in the mother’s room and pulls out a platinum necklace with the letter E made out of diamonds. The mother then places the necklace around the baby’s neck and tucks it under the blanket. The mother then goes down to the living room. At that moment the father rushes back into the house empty handed.
"Where’s Alex?" The mother asks frantically.
"At Matt’s house" he says rushing over to his wife. Just then the door opens and a women fallowed by three larger guys walks in.
"Please don't. Please!" the wife cry’s out.
"I am sorry I have no choice" the lady says before walking closer to the mother and baby.
The mother looks down at the baby whose blue eyes are now wide open looking up at her mother.
" I will always love you. Always." She whispers before the baby is taken out of her hands.
The baby starts to cry as it is rushed out of the house. The mother’s legs give out and she falls to the floor crying. Her husband try’s to comfort her but nothing helps. A piece of her was just taken away. But one day she would find that piece, she knew she had to.

Now
I am falling. I am falling fast with my back towards the ground looking up into the clouds. My hand reaches up trying to grasp on to something, anything that can help me. I try to scream but nothing comes out, and I can’t tell when I will hit the ground. My long curly hair is floating towards the sky above me, along with my white dress. I try to spread my wings but they’re not there, there gone. I turn to see the ground and I am consumed by the blackness.
I wake up breathing hard in my empty room. The doors to my balcony are wide open with a breeze blowing the white curtains that hang from the doors. The curtains cast a shadow on to the grey brick walls from the moon. My sheets are pushed to the end of my bed scrunched by my feet. I push the white netting curtains that hang from my bed aside so I can stand. My white silk dress falls to my knees from gravity. I move the curls that fall in my face aside and walk to my dresser and grab ahold of a candle. I pull a small stick that has a red tip out of a small box and strike the stick against the side of the box. A small flam starts and I light the candle. I then walk to the balcony and look across the lush green land. I stretch out my white wings and take a deep breath of the fresh air.
