A few hours after Doe's squad was ambushed by the Renaissance.

He was carried all the way to the Rena Kingdom.

Where the Renaissance people resides.

As he wakes up, he looked around him, and it was dark, really dark.

Only a small light came in through a window.

A window he knows too much of.

He was inside a cell.

He looked around frantically for the Knight, and the swordsmen, wondering if they survived after being knocked out.

He looked at the cell infront of him, and there he was, the unconscious Knight.

Stripped off his shield and sword, now powerless and out cold.

He looked into the cells to his right, the swordsmen were there as well.

Their swords has been taken away and they were in a prison uniform.

As he was about to yell at them to wake up, a guard came up, blocking his view.

"Well, well, look who woke up, the Executioner himself." Said the guard.

"I've heard a lot of stories about you, executing criminals, and trespassers."

"So, you were on a trip to the dynasty, huh? Because they don't have an executioner?"

Doe nodded in silence.

The guard chuckled.

"Well, what a coincidence, we, the people of the Rena Kingdom, don't have an executioner as well." He said.

"So, here's a little offer, work as our executioner, and we'll let your squad go."

Doe only stared with wide eyes.

Doe had never been offered something before.

But this was from someone who kidnapped them.

So, he stayed quiet.

"I'll give you some time about it, big guy, don't make us wait too long." Said the guard.

As the guard walks away, Doe was left with silence.

It didn't last long until the Knight woke up.

"Ugh.. what happened..? All i can remember is that we were ambushed.." said the Knight.

Soon, the swordsmen woke up as well.

"Gah.. Knight..? What happened..?" Asked one.

"It seems.. were imprisoned.." said the Knight.

"How will we get out..?" Asked another.

"I.. i don't know.." said the Knight, now stressed.

"Ugh.. Hey Ex.. what happened after we were knocked out..?" Asked the Knight.

Doe took a deep breath.

"I was offered.. to work here.. as their executioner.." he said, in low, deep, intimadating tone.

"W- what..? But.. don't they already have some..? You know.. those guys holding long axes.." said one of the swordsmen.

"Those.. are Halberds.. not Executioners.." the Knight explained.

"But.. aren't they the same..?" Asked another.

"The size of the blade is much smaller than an executioner's.." the Knight explained again.

"Oh bull.. does that mean.. were stuck here forever..? Until we starve to death..?" Asked one of the swordsmen.

"No.. Ex.. once you get out.. run away to the dynasty as fast you can.. our King are allies with the Sensei.. you can get some help there.." the Knight said.

As soon as the Knight finished talking, the guard came back.

"So, is your mind made up now, big guy?" He asked.

Doe nodded silently.

"Good, here, wear your uniforms again." The guard said, throwing Doe's uniform into the cell.

Soon, Doe was set up, and stood up as the guard unlocks his cell.

"Come on, big man, you have a lot of criminals to execute." Said the guard.

Soon, they were already outside and it was very bright, and there was a lot of people.

This is a good chance for Doe to run.

As soon as they enter the crowd, Doe disappears amongst them, despite his height.

Before he knows it, Doe was already in the forest again, and began running.
