Episode 9: Get Jinxed

Jinx: Booooooorrrrred.

Jinx laid on the couch with her legs on the top of it while her head hanging over the edge. Everybody else was busy doing their own thing, and with no bad guys to blow up, the whole day has been boring her to non-existent tears.

Her eyes shift over to Lulu who was drawing and Lux and Sora who were chatting with each other. The latter two in particular have been acting very close to each other ever since the day Sora went Rage Mode.

Jinx didn't want to admit she was feeling jealous, but she definitely was. Before Sora, her and Lux were the closest of friends. Talking about anything and everything due to the high amount of trust they built for each other.

Even when they had their falling out moments, they mended bridges and moved on. But now, she felt like she was being pushed to the side once more. She hated it.

But what could she do? She was bored...

Jinx: ...Bored...Sora...Internal Crisis...

An idea formed in her head. She rolls up from the couch before shouting at the Keyblade wielder, spooking both him and Lux.

Jinx: Yo, Spikey! Need to talk to ya!

Sora: Ooh, sure! What's up?

Jinx: Hol' up. We gotta talk privately, so you're coming with me.

The red head grabs him by the arm and starts pulling him towards the door, much to Lux's surprise.

Lux: Uh, Jinx-

Jinx: Chillax, Luxie! What, ya think more of those Heartless creeps will surprise us? We'll be quick.

Speechless, Sora is dragged out the house by Jinx, leaving behind the sighing pink-haired teen.

Lux: That's what I'm worried about...

She glances over at Lulu, raising a curious brow as she leans over and looks at what she's drawing. It appeared to be a crayon drawing of Sora in his Rage Form, fighting off the same Heartless Knights from before.

Lux: That form of his really left an impression on you, huh Lulu?

Then from the corner of the paper, she spotted a sad face of Lulu drawn. She frowns, worried for her Yordle friend.

Jinx: Cheers, bud!

The duo clink cans of soda together before Jinx takes a huge swig of it. Sora, on the other hand, chuckles as he takes a sip from his. Sitting atop a large building, he gazes out towards the streets far below for a moment before looking back at Jinx.

Sora: So, what is it ya wanted to talk about?

Jinx finishes chugging down her drink before sighing, kicking her legs up and down as she gathered her thoughts.

Jinx: You ever had one of those moments where you felt like you've been pushed to the side by your friends? Ya know what I mean. The feeling of being ostracized.

Sora is taken aback by her question, humming deep in thought as he ponders. His right foot taps against the side of the building as Jinx watches him in anticipation.

Sora: Mmh...I can't really say I have...

Jinx sighed dejectedly.

Jinx: Yeah, should've figured. You look like the kind of guy who's close with all your friends.

Sora: But, I can understand what you mean. Something similar.

Jinx is surprised, giving him her full attention as he looks back at her with a slight frown.
