"Good luck, Lupin, Wands at the ready." "Scared, Lupin?" Malfoy asked, "the only thing im scared about is your face." Astrix responded, "On the count of three... cast your charms to disarm your opponent. Only to disarm. We don't want any accidents here."

"One."
"Two."

"Everte Statum!" Malfoy said, "protego!" an invisible shield was casted around Astrix, causing Malfoy's spell to fail "Tarantallegra!" Malfoys legs start uncontrollably jerking and twitching, "good one Moony!" Harry said. "Finite Incantatem" Malfoy said, causing it to stop. "Expelliarmus!" Malfoy was sent flying backwards, Snape pulls Draco to his feet and pushes him forward, as Draco raises his wand

"I said disarm only!" Lockhart said, "Serpensortia!" swishes his wand and fires a cobra out of it; which then slithers along the playing field; Astrix lowers her wand, Snape walking past Malfoy towards the snake 9Don't move, Lupin. I'll get rid of it for you." Lockhart stopped him, "Allow me, Professor Snape."

"Alarte ascendare!" the snake jettisons high into the air, then falls back down, raises its head and turns toward Astrix with a hiss, Astrix moves foward "Sya- hassa- heth." (Leave them alone.) the snake turns toward Harry and hisses "Sya- has- heth." (Leave me alone.) Harry said, Snape watches suspiciously "Sya- hasi- heth." (leave him alone) the snake turns toward Asrix "Vipera. Evanesca." Snape waves his wand, emitting a blast at the snake, causing it to burst into flame and disappear. A murmur runs through the audience.

"you're both Parselmouths?" Ron and Hermione came running towards the pair. "Why didn't you tell us?" Ron asked, "we're a what?" Astrix asked, "You can talk to snakes." Hermione said, "I know. I accidentally set a python on my cousin Dudley at the zoo once." Astrix looked at harry with a confused look. "Once. But so what?" Harry asked, "I bet loads of people here can do it." Astrix said, "No, they can't. It's not a very common gift." Hermione said, "This is bad." Ron said, "What's bad? If I hadn't told that snake not to attack me" "That's what you said to it." Ron interrupted, "You were there. You heard us." Astrix said, "I heard you speaking Parseltongue. Snake language." "we spoke a different language?" Harry asked.

"But I didn't realize... How can I speak a language without knowing I can?" Astrix asked, "I don't know, but it sounded like you were egging the snake on or something." "Astrix, listen to me. There's a reason the symbol of Slytherin house is a serpent. Salazar Slytherin was a Parselmouth. He could talk to snakes too." Harry looked at astrix, "Now the whole school's gonna think we're his great-great-great grandchildren or something." "But we're not. we can't be. He lived a thousand years ago." "For all we know, you could be." Hermione said, "I'll see you back in the common room."

"I want blood. They all must die. kill. kill. kill. Time to kill."

Harry and Astrix turns a corner and discovers Nearly Headless Nick, petrified with his head partially detached and floating in place. On the floor just a few feet away is Justin Finch-Fletchey, also petrified. Astrix kneels down to examine his stiff body. As she does so, Filch walks out of a doorway behind him. "Caught in the act." Harry and Astrix turn around at the sound of his voice

"I'll have you out this time, Potter, Lupin. Mark my words." he grins wickedly and walks away, "No, Mr. Filch! Y-y-you don't understand--" breaks off as something else catches his eye; he looks to see another group of spiders scurrying away over the wall and out a window; as he walks to the window, watching the spiders, Filch returns, accompanied by Professor McGonagall; she gasps in shock at the sight of Justin and approaches him, then glances from his body to Harry and Astrix. "Professor... we swear we didn't." Harry said, "This is out of my hands, Potter. Professor Dumbledore, will be waiting for you." she gestures towards the statue.

Harry and Astrix approaches, "Sherbet Lemon." she opens her hands at the statue; the statue rotates clockwise and rises, and a staircase comes out of the floor, also rising in a clockwise fashion; Harry steps onto the staircase, stepping towards a door as the statue comes to a stop

"Professor Dumbledore?" Harry asked, "Bee in your bonnet, Potter?" Dumbledore responded, "I was just wondering, if you put me in the right house." Harry said, "Yes. You were particularly difficult to place, But I stand by what I said last year. You would have done well in Slytherin." Dumbledore responded "You're wrong." "Astrix?" Dumbledore asked, "Professor, Your bird... There was nothing I could do. He just caught fire." Harry looked at you. "And about time too. He's been looking dreadful for days, Pity you had to see him on a burning day." Dimbledore responded,

"oh is he a phoenix, sir?" Astrix asked, "what does that have to do with anything?" Harry asked, "They burst into flame when it is time for them to die... and then they are...reborn from the ashes." Another bird grew from the ashes of the last, "Fascinating creatures, phoenixes, They can carry immensely heavy loads, Their tears have healing powers." Dumbledor continued, "Professor Dumbledore, sir, it wasn't Harry. I'd be prepared to swear it in front of the Ministry of Magic." Astrix said, "Relax. I do not believe... that Harry attacked anyone." Dumbledore responded, "Of course you don't." "Right. Well, I'll... I'll just wait outside, then."

"You don't think it was us, professor?" Harry asked, "No, Harry, I do not think it was you both, But I must ask you...is there something you wish to tell me?" Dumbledore asked "No, sir, Nothing." Astrix responded, "Very well, then, Off you go."
