It was your lunch period the very next day, and you were eating peacefully at your desk, along with everyone else who hadn't up and left for lunch. But you weren't alone, actually. Shinsuke had his chair pulled up to your desk so that you could've had a nice chat. And it was going well.

"So, how've you been dealing with Kuroo-kun, lately? Hopefully, he's not bothering you as much, right?"

A short huff escaped your lips. "I can't say whether it's fortunate or unfortunate, but I'm very slowly getting used to his antics." You plucked a piece of meat from its separate compartment and ate it. "He still annoys me, but it's become less infuriating. I think he thinks this is a game. One that never ends."

His brows creased with worry. "Are you sure you don't want to go to a teacher, yet? It'd get him off your back sooner than later."

"No, it's fine." You shook your head. 'That breaches the rules of his shitty agreement.'

Your lunch date with Shinsuke was going well indeed. Well, until you know who showed up.

Your ears picked up on rattling and thud from across the room. Where your ears focused, your eyes followed. But now you were wishing that you hadn't. 'Ignore him. Ignore him. Ignore him.'

"(Y/n)-chan!"

Shinsuke, too turned his head and watched Kuroo take a cool and casual stroll, across the room. Other female students were more than aware of his presence already and were giggling and blushing amongst themselves.

The closer he got to your desk, the more scrunched your features became. "What do you want now?" You reached for another sliced piece of carrot and placed it in your mouth.

He stopped right before you both with a tilt in his head. He was rather amused at how your conversations never strayed from the usual. "I came to see you, is that so wrong of me?"

"When you're disturbing my conversations, it is." You plucked another piece of carrot, one after the other.

Kuroo met eyes with Shinsuke, who wore an indifferent look on his face. "Having a chat with the Vice President, huh?"

You swallowed. "I am."

From his face, all the way down until the tip of his shoes, he observed. "Well then, Vice-pres." His eyes closed with his smile. He took a step over and pulled towards him one of the empty chairs from the desk beside yours. "Hope you don't mind," he positioned it in front of you and plopped himself down in it. "But I need to talk with this cute thing for a bit."

"Uh-"

"Can't it wait until later? What you're doing is rude. If you have something important to say, then speak to me after lunch."

"Ehh..." Kuroo stole another glance from Shinsuke, who was now focusing on his food but had a significant change on his face. "But I don't wanna wait until later." He sat back and slouched a bit down the seat. "I came all the way here, excited so we could talk more in detail about our date this weekend."

Your pupils flared at the shared words of a blabbermouth. The tips of your ears grew hot, as a fire was set in your eyes. "You!" You snapped your head to stare him down.

Shinsuke's reaction didn't stray too far from yours, but his own carried awe more than anything.

"What?" He lifted a brow. "I say something wrong."

'Did he really just say that? In front of Shinsuke, too! Now it's going to sound like everything I've said up until now was for show!'

"Kuroo-kun," Shinsuke's cut into the conversation, brought along attention from either of you. "I think you should leave." What went from awe, turned into anger.
