A/N: I thought the chapter was gonna be a little over 2000 at least, but here I am staring at about 4,300 words. Enjoy, my sweets✧*。

"Is there anything else you want to scold me for, (l/n)-san?"

"I don't know. Did you do anything else these past two days besides skip class?"

He looked off to a corner of the room. "No..." Nothing you needed info on.

"Then you have nothing else to worry about."

Kuroo followed you all the way to the Student Council club room and was made to have a seat while you stood beside him, ready to give him the lecture he was had coming. He leaned over with his elbows on the long table, one of them propping him up so he would have a better chance at listening.

"So talk." You crossed your arms over you chest. "Why'd you skip your classes?"

"Feels like I'm being yelled at by my mom," he muttered.

"Hah?" You raised your voice, making him flinch in his seat. "Who's acting like your mother now?"

Sweat rolled down his cheek at your sudden ferocity. "N...Nobody." He refused to look in the eyes. His future told him it was as scary as the feeling your emitting.

"First you're up and down the hallways sulking all the time, and now I hear that you're not showing up to class? You're acting like more of a pain in the ass than I know you to be."

His sigh was heavy. "You don't have to concern yourself with me anymore. After all, I'm the piece of shit who you had to put up with because he was doing as he pleased and making you uncomfortable all the time."

"You're right," you said. "You are the annoying piece of shit who has nothing better to do than to pester me on constant basis and serves no purpose other than to cause strife in my everyday student life."

All of that with the straightest face he's ever seen you in. "I didn't say all of that, but whatever works for you..."

"And you're also right about me not having to associate myself with you." If Kuroo could've sunk further into the chair and table, he would've done it. "But don't you think it's a little too late for that now? Whether I like it or not, the damage is already done. I've no choice but to deal with you now."

"But-" He stopped himself. His brows furrowed. "...It really was a dick move of me, forcing you to put up with me." What resembled red dye spread across his cheeks as he was came to admit it. "I was really beating myself up over these past couple days because of it. I knew what I was doing, but..." His eyes slipped away from you. "Having that prick say it back to my face and then seeing your face, I felt like the world's douchiest douche bag."

You watched him in silence as he placed his feelings on display for you. It was a rather intriguing sight.

"When it comes down to it I...Argh!" He tried pulled his hair down over his face to cover the further spread of his blush. He knew it was happening because he was getting frustrated while the beat of his sped faster. "I just didn't know how to properly go about talking to you."

Oh? A smile? Small, but it was most definitely on your face. 'Isn't this a little cute?'

"My pals always told me about how you always shot down everyone who's ever asked you out, so I wanted to go about it differently. If I didn't, you wouldn't have thought twice about it doing it to me."

You raised a brow. "And that was the best plan you thought of?"

He continued on staring down at the table. "...Yes."
