Irenes gone on a work trip for a whole month and I decided it would be safer for Aria to stay with Xavier for that time being too. Lord knows what would happen if she was left alone in the house while I was gone.

Irenes gone, and I know she's only been gone for literally 3 days but it's already starting to weigh down on me that she's actually not here. I'm bored and a bit hungry so I call up the only person I can talk to right now.

I put the phone on speaker as it rings, and I wait for her to pick up. It takes about 20 seconds before she picks up.

"Hello?"

"Hi Katy."

...

"Can I just get chicken and waffles please?" I ask the waiter and he nods, turning to Katy. "And what would you like?" Katy closes her menu and smiles. "The same please."

He nods and leaves toward the kitchen. "Is there a reason you wanted to meet up?" She asks and I raise an eyebrow. "You didn't want to meet me?" I tease.

"N-no that's not it-" "I was joking love." She smiles sheepishly. "I just have a lot going on, and it's nice to have the company of a...friend." I say, and she smiles.

"Can I ask you a question?" "Sure," "How old are you?" I look up at her with a smirk. "How old do I look?" "The way you dress, I would say 30. But your face, I would say 20." "Im 22."

She nods, looking down at her hands and I notice she's fidgeting with her ring. I place my hand on hers to stop her. "Are you okay?" She smiles and nods, grabbing my hand. I let her hold onto it as we get to know eachother more.

"How's little Max doing?" "You remembered his name?" I laugh. "Well how could I forget such a cute face?" "Oh well he's good." She says shortly. I frown, but don't question it.

"What's your favourite colour?" She asks, playing with the rings on my hand. I smile at her antics. "Blue." She pauses and looks up at me. "Blue is your favourite colour?" I nod, confused.

"But you're always wearing red or black." "Because I simply look best in those colours."

"I- is there any reason why?" "Well I suppose it's because of the shade of my sk-" "No I mean, is there any reason why blue is your favourite colour?"

I frown at her because it makes me think of a certain bright blue pair of eyes. "No...I suppose not." I lie and she seems to be hesitant to look at me. "Should I have a reason?" "I just find the little things to be important."

"Well I'm sorry that I don't have a reason for my favourite colour, love." The name seems to lighten up the move and we change the subject.

"When did you lose your virginity?" "Bold of you assume I have." I joke, but she smiles, like she knows something I don't. "It would be absurd to assume you haven't, don't you think?" She says back and I smirk. She's gaining confidence, and I like that.

"Are you trying to flirt with me, Katy?" She doesn't turn red like I expected her to. "If you're up for the taking, then the answer is yes." I smile at her, loving this new confidence.

"I lost my virginity when I was 18." She stares at me, her grip on my hand slightly tightening. "With who?" I'm not ashamed and I couldn't care less who she tells so I tell her the truth. "To an older woman..."

I can see a certain glint in her eyes. "What was her name?" Shes sitting up straighter now, and I wonder why she's so interested. "Irene walters." I say, smiling as I think of her.

Her smile grows, almost painful looking. "You okay?" I ask, rubbing her hand with my thumb. "Yeah. Yeah I'm okay." She says with a tight smile.

But she doesn't look fine.

Larissa lays back against her chair, the warmth of the fireplace enveloping her whole. Morticia lazes around in the chair infront of the fireplace and stares at the flames.

"We need to do something, before we lose her forever." Morticia says after a long time of silence. "You mustn't worry your pretty little head about it. I'm already working on it." Larissa replies, taking a drink of the wine in her hand.

"You are?" Larissa nods and leans over, capturing Morticias lips on her own. "She'll come to us, and if not, we'll just have to take her." Morticia smiles, breaking the kiss for a brief second to breathe before leaning forward once more and capturing the lips of her lover.
