Jj then followed kiara into the house leaving the others outside, speechless.

"Kie where you at!?" Jj looked head to toe for her until he found her sitting on the bed in her bedroom, with her face buried in her knees.

"kie.." Jj came to sat next to her and hugged her tight as she sobbed in his arms.

"I-i can't deal with this shit anymore. Everything was perfect but of course, rafe had to brainwash my cousin."

"heyy hey it's alright baby" He kissed her temple and layed his chin on her head.

Kiara felt safe when she was around jj. He's the only pogue who actually cared about how she felt. He was the only one who understood her.

Jj's known as a sweet kind teenager but when it comes to protecting kiara, oh he's something else.

"That asshole doesn't know who he's messing with, if he hurts you one more fucking time ill kill that son of a bitch" Jj said. Kiara just chuckled at his comment while looking right at him.

They both felt unknown sparks sparkling around them every time they made eye contact, but they weren't just any sparks.

Kiara sat up, causing jj to remove his hands. Jj wiped a tear off her cheek and placed his hand on her neck.

"You look hot when you cry" He said with a flirty smirk on his face.

"Oh shut up" Kiara slapped his hand and pushed his back onto the bed.

"Thanks for cheering me up j" Kiara said as she hugged him one last time.

"Anything for you princess" He said.

"We should head back now, the others are probably worried"

They both made their way outside to find sarah infront of her.

"Hey kie i uh.. Im sorry. You were right, i should've-" Sarah got interrupted with kie hugging her tight.

"It's alright sarah, you didn't mean to and it wasn't your fault, i get that." Kiara replied while looking at jj with a smile.

the 3 of them walked outside to the porch with a small bag in their hands.

"Yo there you guys are! Look at this shit" John b said while holding up a letter. "We snitched into this guy's bag and found this."

"i know a guy who knows a lot about gold and shit, i suggest you meet him tonight, he's hosting a masquerade ball at exactly midnight. The address is **********"

"Holy shit, that's perfect!" Pope shouted.

"Are y'all thinking what i'm thinking?" John b said.

"Lets go to that masquerade madness and booby trap this shit!" Jj said while doing the pogue handshake with john b.

"But hold up, we can't go lookin' like this" Cleo interrupted them.

"I think my parents kept some suits and party dresses upstairs. We can use those and look for some place to buy masks." Kiara said.

The pogues found some outfits and masks and soon got ready for the ball.
