Christien x Rouge

Chapter 4: Dinner

At 5:15 Christien got off of work to his house and prepare himself for the dinner with Rouge that night.

Rouge got off work a little later that day and she also got ready for the dinner. She put on some make up, a pair of earrings, and the necklace Christien gave to her that day.

Christien put on a pair of black jeans, a blue button up shirt, nice black boots, and a gold ring he got for last Christmas.

Rouge drove to Christien's house just as he finished up everything. She walked up to his door and knocked on it. He opened it and stared in awe at Rouges dress and cute smile.

Christien: you certainly know how to dress for fashion.

Rouge: thanks, so where are we going?

Christien: well I was gonna take you to a nice restaurant by the river, but I know how much you hate being by the ocean.

Rouge smiled a little thinking to herself "wow he actually remembered that, I can't believe Knuckles couldn't ever remember that.

Rouge: how about that nice Chinese restaurant by the mall, I love their orange chicken.

Christien: that sounds...

Just as Christien was about to say something Rouges phone rings. She goes inside to answer it.

Rouge: hello?

Knuckles: Rouge, honey listen...

Rouge: you don't get to call me that!

Christien could tell that Rouge was pissed off so he sat outside the door until her conversation with Knuckles was over.

Rouge: Knuckles you shouldn't have broken up with me in the first place, if you didn't want to do that then to bad. I'm done with you Knuckles, you can say hi to my new boyfriend this weekend.

Knuckles: wait Rou-

Rouge hung up the phone, placed it down, and dropped to the floor where she started crying. Christien heard this and walked inside.

Christien: Rouge do you want...

Rouge: go home Christien, I'll reschedule our date some other time.

Christien nodded his head and walked out as Rouge sobbed on the floor all night until her eyes turned red.

Rouge: i still have feelings for that bastard.
