Uncontrollably Fond: Chapter III

After the whole reunion, Nabi and Donghyuck exchanged numbers with each other. It was because she had promised to call him after talking to her boss.

She went home, took off her clothes, took a shower and sat on her bed.

She was staring into the abyss, when a photo caught her eye. She stood up and went towards it.

"Yesol, He's back." She said. "Will I have another chance with him?" Tears welled up in her eyes.
"If only you were here." She went and tucked herself in.

Nabi was on her way to her boss, Min Jonhyun's house. She went in and prepared his suit for the day. 

Nabi and Jonghyun reached the office in about 30 minutes.

"Sir, You have a meeting with Kim Taehyung, the owner of Kim Food Corporation in the afternoon." She went on about his schedule for over five minutes.

"Ok, Nabi. You can leave now"

"Yes, Sir" She went to the door, when she was reminded of something. Donghyuck.

"Sir" She called him.

"Yes? What do you want? Also, didn't I tell you to call me Jonghyun when its just the two of us. We're friends, aren't we?" He said, earning a chuckle from her.

"Yes, we are. I wanted to ask you for a favour." She sat across him, staring at the plaque that read CEO: MIN JONGHYUN.

"Go on"

"There's this friend of mine who's looking for a job and I told him that I would work something out." He nodded. "Friend? What's his name?"

"Donghyuck. Lee Donghyuck."

"Do you like him?" Jonghyun asked, making Nabi blush. She was unsure whether she still liked Donghyuck.

"K-kinda" She answered

"Clear my schedule for the afternoon and arrange a meeting with him." The secretary nodded and was happy for Donghyuck. She thanked him and got up.

"Also" Nabi turned. "I'm only doing this because it looks like you like him" He flashed a smile at her.

"Thank you, Hyun" With that, she walked out of the room and called Donghyuck.

"Hello"

"Donghyuck, I arranged a meeting
with my CEO. You can come around 2 pm
for an interview".

"Oh, thank you so much, Nabi"

"You're welcome and
dress welll

She ended the call and went on with the work.
Donghyuck finally showed up at the office and she led him to the boss' room.

"Well, here we are. Good luck."
"I cannot thank you enough for this, Nabi"
"It's alright. It's the least I can do"

He opened the door and went in.
"Lee Donghyuck?"
"Yes, Sir. Thats me"
"Please have a seat" Donghyuck did as he was told.

"Now, Donghyuck, Could you tell me about yourself and describe your background in brief?"

"I was born and brought up in Jeju Island, Moved to New York a few years back. I have a degree in Computer Engineering and after I got my first job as a front-end coder, I continued to invest time in mastering both front- and back-end languages, tools, and frameworks.”
