That was all it took for Nabi to run out of the house. Panting, as she ran as fast as her feet took her. Tears streaming down her face. At that moment, she couldn't tell the difference between the droplets of rains and the tears.

She stopped in front of Yesol's house. Walking in to find Donghyuck standing on the porch. She stood beside him as they brought out a stretcher. In it, was Yesol's body wrapped in a white sheet. It had patches of red. The rain pouring on her lifeless body.

Nabi held Donghyuck by his arm, as she started crying uncontrollably.

In a while, their parents were at the spot. She had seen Yesol today. And she looked fine.

She turned to Donghyuck, "How did you know?"

"I got a voice mail." He took out his phone, and played it for her.

"Hey Hyuck. I guess by the time you listen to this, I'll probably be gone. But, I wanted to tell you to always be strong. Please work hard in your exams and do your homework on time as I won't be there to remind you, she chuckled "I love you Hyuck, as a friend of course. But there's someone else who loves you a lot more. Please be there for Nabi, as she too, may be going through a lot of pain because of me. I hope you two end up together and have beautiful children. Name your first born after me. Goodbye. This is the end."

Donghyuck sniffled. "I was ten minutes late, Nabi. Ten minutes. If I heard it the minute she sent it, I would've stopped her." He hugged her.

When Nabi got home, she went to her room and switched on her phone.

She ignored all the notifications, except for one.
Yesol's. It was a voicemail. Nabi prepared herself.

"Hey Nabs. It's me, your bestie Yesol. I wanted to let you know how much you mean to me. You and Hyuck are the reason I'm happy. At home and at work, I'm treated as someone whose worth nothing. But when I'm with you. I feel like I'm worth to someone. And that me living is not a burden. I want to go to a place where I'll be free. Also, I hope you and Hyuck get together. I know you've liked him ever since we were kids. And now, you should tell him how you feel. I know that you two will look great together. I've already told Hyuck that you should name your first born after me. I love you, Nabi. And I'm sorry. Goodbye. This is the end."

Nabi broke down in tears after hearing it. She replayed it throughout the night. If only she heard it earlier. She would've been there to talk her out of it.

If only, if only, if only. Nabi couldn't sleep that night. She wanted to get out of there. Get out of Jeju.
Her parents let her miss school for a week.
She wanted to move from there. To forget the memories of that place. She moved in a week. She moved to Seoul. And that was the start of Baek Nabi's life in Seoul.

It was pretty hard for her to make friends. But she did anyway. She became friends with Mark, as he was her benchmate. He introduced her to his group and they got along well.

But Nabi still couldn't forget her time in Jeju.
