Chapter 12. Sleepover? (Short)

Jax's house
- Jax POV -

I was about to lie down in bed until I heard a knock at the door. Who could it be at this time?
I wrap a blanket around my nude body as I walk to the door and look through the peep-hole. I seen that it was Forest. I open the door and I looked at him.

"What are you doing here at this time?"

"I can't stay at my place. I was wondering if I could spend the night."

"I guess." I replied.

I was still affected by the fact he was on the phone with Seth. I gave him a blanket and a pillow.

"Sleep on the couch."

"Okay..thank you."

"mhm." I said with a stubborn attitude.

I was upset at him. Did he even break up with Seth and Matteo? I guess he's just a cheater.

"Night."

"Goodnight.." He said with a sad tone.

I could tell he knew I didn't want him here. I needed my space alone. I wonder if he even broke up with Seth and Matteo..like i thought earlier.
I'll just brush my mind off of it.

- Forest POV -

I can tell that he doesn't want me here. I lay on the couch and set the blanket down. I stare at the ceiling for a good moment and I started to doze off.

After a few hours, I was burning up, practically dying of heat. I usually don't sleep in anything by boxers...I take my hoodie and shirt off and lie back down to see if it'll help.

I fell back asleep much more comfortably.
I was hoping that Jax didn't get mad over me being shirtless and out in the main parts of the house.

I slept roughly throughout the night, considering the fact that I knew Jax was upset with me. I know Seth and Matteo are definitely upset too..which doesn't help my situation with things.
I need to get my mind to ease and just focus on things for tomorrow. I know the teacher said we have a project coming up for her class. Maybe I should talk to Jax about it?
I don't know if that would be the brightest idea though.
