Chapter 3. Beginning of something new?

Biology : Room 402

- Jax POV -

Did he really just come to save me, especially after my thoughts about him?

"Are you okay.?"

"Yes..thank you." I replied to the muscular guy.

My thought process was all over the place after my thoughts and what he just did. I had so many questions that only he could answer.
What's his name?
Is this my chance to become friends with him?
Is there a chance for me to get with him?
Am I gay?
Why did he save me?
Is he in this class?
Is this the guy who was named Forest?
Who is he?

I zoned out and then realized he was speaking to me, but I didn't realize a word he said.

"I'm sorry, excuse me? What did you say..I was off in my thoughts."

"I was wondering if you wanted to become friends. I'm not well with making them, but it's okay to give it a shot to try."

I freaked out at this moment. He just answered a couple of my questions. I can become friends with him..and this could be a chance for me to get with him if we get a strong enough bond.

I responded with, "I would love to become friends. I'm not well with making them either and it would be nice to try." I started blushing, then I proceeded to worry that it was noticeable.

"Well in that case, hi. My name is Forest, what's your name"

"I..I'm Jax. My real name is Jaxson and I get bullied a lot at this school. I don't have any friends, except you now..."

"I'm happy to be your friend."

I nodded with agreement. I seen Forest go to his seat, which was the table right beside mine. I noticed that Lolli was gone after what Forest did for me. Hopefully I won't be bullied by him anymore. It's like he's my body guard. I was still confused if the other small guy in their group was protected by this same guy. Maybe he'll like me and become my guard... Is this me developing a crush on a guy that I don't even know?

- Forest POV -

I want him to be okay. I'll start to protect him everyday from the start, to the finish of the academy years. I hope we can become better friends overtime, for now. Things are just awkward between both of us.

I look at his bright blue eyes and start to think that he deserves better. I stop staring as soon as he looked over. I began on working on my work for the class, but as I was doing it. I realized I couldn't get my mind off of him. The worse part about all of this was that I was dating two other men. I don't want them to be upset with me after what just happened, and if they realize my actions about this mysterious Jax guy.
I push my glasses towards my face more as I realize they were falling a little bit. I tried finishing up my work before the bell rang, but it didn't go well.

As the bell rang, I looked at Jax and helped him finish packing up all of his stuff, and asked him what his next class was.

"What is your next class?"

"I have English next, what about you?"

"I have Gym" I replied while looking down at him.

I realized that he was only about 5 foot as to I was 6'2. He was so small compared to me. I watch leave the classroom, and I began to follow.

- Jax POV -

I felt someone walked behind me, I was worried it was Lolli but then I realized that he was put into detention for the day after this morning.
I turn around and realize it was Forest.

"Forest..what are you doing? The Gym is that way" as I pointed to my left"

"I'm walking you to class, I'm worried that you could get hurt."

I stopped and then hugged him tightly. I was so thankful that he was doing all of this for me, first he helped me out with Lolli, and now he's walking me to class? I wondered what all of this was about. He hugged me back, I thought to myself that he is so comforting. He's tall, and muscular..and handsome too. I backed away.
I realized he isn't as scary as I thought. His glasses hide his eyes, and with how tall and muscular he is, it's scary. But, come to conclusion, he's not as scary as I thought. He's actually respectful and he's like a big softy...

"Thank you.." I blushed as I said it.

"You're welcome...now let's get you to class before you're late."

"What about you? You can't be late!"

"Anything to keep you safe."
