ACT V

His Lie In April

San pov

The blonde haired boy that I saw just now was the 18 year-old me.

He was supposed to run into Wooyoung here soon. And I came here to stop that from happening.

You wondering why?

It's because I regretted meeting you.

It was one regret after another.

《 San's Backstory 》

I remembered I was at the balcony, staring into the familiar city which has developed much into moderness as time passed by.

There was a visible timer on my wrist with a neon blue hue. In order to go back to the past, I have to click onto the glowing neon blue button on my wrist.

And so I did.

Turning everything back was simple.

Out of the blue, here I was, at the rooftop meanwhile you were there complaining about something. And my mission begins:-

"Jung Wooyoung"
"Hi, um.. dad"
"You like Jimin right, shall I help you"

First, I needed to make Wooyoung trust me by using Jimin, whom he likes.

Then, I planned to undo the crucial moment of our encounter.

In order to do so, I have to take note of every single detail of Jimin's whereabouts or shall I say, his daily routine.

Helping Woo with Jimin mission:

And for the last plan, I carried a pile of books and files with me. All I have to do now is to find my target. Speaking of the devil, Jimin just came out from the class and walked along the hall. I chased him from behind.

"Excuse me" I hid my face behind the piles of stuff I carried with me.

"Yes?"

"Could you put these in the science lab?"

"Okay" In a split second, I gave them to him and I immediately left while shouting "thank you!"

Now, it's time.

April 20, 2019. 6.30 pm at the newly opened cafe-the moment we were supposed to meet.

Flashback

It suddenly rain cats and dog. A lot of customers had left due to the weather and I sighed in relieved since now I can finally rest a bit after the hectic chores. It was the cafe grands opening so no wonder it's full of customers. Leaning against the counter while enjoying the droplets of rain-decorating the glass window, I caught a figure of a boy, hook sitting while leaning against the glass window from outside. Without thinking twice, I took my umbrella, went outside-opening it and sheltered him under the umbrella. That's the moment I met his beautiful pair of doe eyes.

End of flashback

"What are you doing here?" Jimin was surprised by Wooyoung's presence.

"Huh? Oh. I left something here earlier" he rubs his nape nervously.

"We're running into each other a lot aren't we?" They both exchanged sweet smiles.

"Hey Woo" Jimin caught his attention.

"Yes?"

"What are you up to this weekend? Do you want to hang out with me?"

Meanwhile, I saw the younger me went outside the cafe-fishing his palm towards the sky, enjoying the wetness of the raindrops instead of sheltering Wooyoung under the umbrella. He saw the sticky note that I pasted on the window. I wrote to him; [To Choi San, I hope you start to live your life to the fullest]

He took it and look around as if he was looking for someone who wrote that to him.

Everything has been undone. It's a success.

Now, I just need to get back.

While Wooyoung was with Jimin, Yeosang and Yunho went to the cafe as they promised. As they were ordering, Yunho caught a familiar face. He tried his best to rerun his memories-wondering where he saw such mesmerizing face before. As they both went to their table waiting for the order, he finally be able to recall the incident.

"Hey, Yuyu. Let's take a selfie" Yeosang find an excuse while gesturing his mouth to 18 year old San who's brewing coffee behind the counter.

"Oh" Yunho mouthed quietly and nodded while Yeosang fished out his phone-opening the front camera. As they faked a pose, Yeosang sneakily captured San's picture.

It's weird, I should have gone back by now as everything has been undone. But...

Why am I still here though?
