"I uh...". I pause for a moment, stunned. What? Honestly could've asked a little nicer. I'm too sensitive for that attitude, but of course i've been getting better at controlling everything.
"I'm Y/n." I say with a big smile at the mullet man. He backs up a bit from placing the spaghetti spoon thingy in the pot. Jean looks around at everyone quickly, then look straight to Connie who's already reaching for the pot.
"Connie, who's this?"
BAW I JUST FUCKING TOLD YOU MY NAME.
"Like she said, this is Y/n, my best friend ever. I know for a goddamn fact i've told you about her before stinkhead." Connie had put on this voice emphasizing "stinkhead" as if he was saying "duh" dramatically.
It was quiet. Maybe too quiet. Everyone was listening in on me, Jean, and Connie's little convo. I shift in the chair a bit due to the fact my butt was hurting for sitting too long.
"And you didn't tell me she was coming?"
"Didn't think you would care that much buddy boy. Don't cry about it." The buzz cut man just grins super wide, still reaching for the spaghetti filled pot.
Jean only look back at me with a side eye, then proceeds to move the pot a bit out of Connie's reach. He sits down in his seat next to the freckled face boy. For such an attractive guy, he sure is pouty. His arms are crossed as he sits back, while manspreading underneath the table.
"Well, go on and serve yourselves. I cooked the goddamn meal, not gonna be y'all's daddy and serve it too you." Jean declared
Eren teases at the ash browned male, "Ok daddy Jean." Everyone else then starts reaching for the salad and pasta, giggling. There's a bit of garlic bread too. Sasha had almost knocked over her wine, but was quick to catch the glass. Thank god.
Sitting for a moment, I sneakily glare at the male wearing a creamish colored crew neck and dark green shorts. How can one be so...I don't know, rude I guess? Obviously I really don't wanna judge someone, but first impressions are how you present yourself to people. I'm not gonna let this tiny little quarrel get to me. The amount of times that someone had been so incredible impolite to me is unbelievable..mostly in high school when everything started.
My eyes start to hurt, I was zoned out and didn't even notice. Blinking my eyes I begin to serve myself the meal. I'm suddenly not feeling so hungry so I don't grab a whole lot to eat. A small portion of spaghetti, a smidgen of salad, and then break the garlic bread in half.
I offer the other half to Connie or Sasha, and immediately Sasha grabs it as if it was the last she was ever going to eat. Connie hand was midway there and he was frozen.
He looks over to the brunette, "Damn bitch, you gonna fucking share that?!?"
"Nope." She mumbles, mouth full of spaghetti AND wine.
Connie only gives her the most disgusting side eye. I can hear very faintly he whispers, "Cunt." Hurriedly I jab him in the side.
"OUCH WHAT THE FUCK?!" He shouts in a whisper.
"Stop it. Do NOT be mean to her and call her names." My inner mother was taking over me."Well I'm sorry she's eating the whole damn table. TABLE CLOTH AND ALL!!"
We were whispering loudly to another, thinking nobody could hear our little feud. But there was someone listening in, staring straight at us, arms still crossed. I hadn't noticed at first till we were done. My mouth was full of bits of lettuce. The food really is good, I have to compliment him even if he reacted like that to me just being here.
