"I'm really into the strapless, laced one" Ariana said as she flipped the page of the magazine.

"That one is gorgeous!" Sascha exclaimed taking the catalog right out of Ariana's hand.

Ariana laughed as her friend seemed more excited about the wedding dresses than she was.

"Hey, as much as I would love to keep looking at these beautiful dresses with you, I have to get back to work" the blonde said, standing up to leave.

"Do you really have to?" Ariana whined.

"Yes, I do" Sascha sighed, "love you girly" she said before leaving the house.

"Bye" Ariana called out.

Ariana sat there flipping through the pages when she heard small footsteps.

Fawkes' little paws made little thumps as they walked across the floor towards Ariana's direction.

"Hey you little diva" Ariana said, petting the small dog affectionately.

Ariana paused for a second, imagining what it'd be like to have a baby walking around the quiet, lonesome house.

Her thoughts were interrupted when the front door flew open.

"I'm here" Sean called out, the grocery bags almost falling out of his hands.

Ariana smiled and ran towards him to help with the bags.

"Here, let me help" Ariana said as she tried to grab the bags.

Sean turned his back to Ariana, not letting her grab the bag.

"What?" Ariana asked, slightly confused.

"Kiss me first" Sean commanded.

"Wow. Totally forgot" Ariana laughed as she leaned in to kiss him sweetly on the lips.

"Can we talk about something" Sean asked as he walked into the kitchen where Ariana stood.

"About??" Ariana questioned.

"Your dad.." Sean said.

"I thought we already talked about all of this. Look, you don't have-" Ariana began.

"I know, it's just that we talked...he doesn't think it's a good idea for us to get married" Sean said, fumbling with his hands.

"When did this happen?" Ariana questioned, her voice getting angrier.

"A couple weeks ago" he answered.

"Wow" Ariana laughed. "And you didn't think to tell me?"

"I didn't want to work you up" Sean said.

"Babe, look at me. There is nothing more in his world that I want more then to become your wife" Ariana said.

Sean smiled as he pulled in Ariana for a hug.

"And you say I'm a charmer" he teased.

Ariana laughed into his chest as he held onto her waist.

"My dad won't get between us. I promise I won't let that happen" Ariana said.

"I hope so" Sean simply said.

Ariana smiled weakly, in hopes that she could keep that promise.

"So, should we go grab something to eat?" Sean asked.

"Um, yea sure" Ariana said.

The two of them headed out to grab some lunch, also getting a chance to catch up on their busy schedules.
