Two firefighters, one openly gay and one closeted, are assigned to work together at a busy fire station. Despite their initial tensions, they quickly develop a close bond as they fight fires and save lives side-by-side. Over time, their relationship deepens into something more, and they begin to realize that they are falling in love. However, they both know that being openly gay in their profession can be difficult, and they struggle to balance their growing feelings for each other with their careers and societal expectations. As they navigate their relationship, they also face challenges from their families who may not accept their love. But ultimately, they learn that love is worth fighting for and that the support of their fellow firefighters can help them overcome any obstacles in their way.

Buck POV
I make my way into the fire house up to the loft "Hey Hen! Can I ask you a relationship question?" I flop on the couch beside her "What do you think of dating apps? for someone like my sexuality, I like men and women but I don't want to be labelled Hen. But everything wants or declares a label. I don't want that. What do I do?" I groan looking up at Hen as I was now laying in her lap pouting. She laughs and pats my head "What do you mean? You want to sign up for Tinder? Grinder?" Which I nod in response "How about sign up to both then, Tinder is for Women or Both men and Women, while Grinder is specifically for Men" I nod thinking about it. I don't spend long dwelling as the bell went off. I jumped up and headed to the engines, I hop in and look around me at Chim, Hen, Bobby and Tommy "What's the scene Cap?" I look over at Bobby
Bobby turns to us from the front passenger "Everyone better have gear and their bags as we have been emergency called to the Texas bush fire, Alarm 5" Everybody nods and quickly jumps out to grab their bags from their locker, After 3 minutes we hit the road and are on the long boring drive to Texas "So we will be working with multiple fire stations, including the 126, 117, 133 and 217. We will be working with firefighters Kevin Lee, Tommy Kinard, Albert Han, Captain Mehta, Captain Owen Strand, along with his son TK Strand and their team Judd Ryder, Marjan Marwani, Mateo Chavez, Paul Strickland and Edmundo Diaz. There will be more though that's all I remember from the other houses" Bobby explains to us as me and Hen were so bored that we decided to research all those Bobby mentioned
Me and Hen were going through profiles and articles about them "Marjan Marwani is Firefox!? We're working with Firefox?!" Hen and Chimney look at me as if I have 3 heads "Who the fuck is firefox?" I shake my head at the two "Neither of you know the legend of firefox? The Miami firefighter" "Bucky, We love you but just saying her name isn't going to tell us who she is" Hen laughs at my excitement. I shake my head "She is a miami firefighter who jumped into a river , Against her captains orders! to save two people trapped in a sinking car" Bobby turns to look at me "You mean basically anything you did? Since you always go against my orders? But never went viral for it" I nod slowly "Yeah basically, apart from..... the ladder truck incident..." He places a reassuring hand on my leg.
We dive back into researching as we were now 7 hours into a 19 hour drive. Hen was researching another one and I looked over her shoulder "Woah, Who is that?" I stare at the picture of the man that Hen had up "I don't know, It says Edmundo Diaz, Veteran, currently working with the 126. That's Captain Owen Strand's Station right Cap?" He nods "Thats his lastest recruit, who, Surprise!, Is coming back to our station" I nearly fell out of my seat hearing it "He's what? You never told us about a new recruit" Bobby looks at us through the mirror "His name is Edmundo Diaz, Eddie Diaz. He is moving to LA after the fire is put out and Owen Strand had personally requested he be put with our station. Will that be a problem Buckley?" I sink back into my chair crossing my arms shaking my head muttering "No cap"
