Part two of A New Start

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Over the few months, Me and Buck have started getting closer, We now have keys to each others homes. There is days where I would walk in from dropping Christopher to school or at Abuelas or the amazing women Buck introduced me too, Carla, to Buck cooking us breakfast. My guest room that was for my Abuela whenever she wanted to stay has also turned into Buck's room. One of those days was today. I dropped my car keys on the table "Hang them up or you'll lose them...Again" I hear from Buck. I laugh and hang them up before sitting down at island "What you cooking today?"
Buck's head snaps up from the pan "You know the answer to that" I shake my head laughing "Surprise?" I mimic Buck. He hits my arm slightly with the spatula. I put my hands up in defence "Just so your aware, we have work in three hours" I make my way to the bedroom to get ready. 20 minutes later he had laid out breakfast. He had made omlettes, waffles, French toast pancakes and cinnamon French Toast sticks in a bowl of fruits. I let out a moan of delight as I bite into one of the cinnamon sticks "Fuck me Buckley, If you cooked like this every day. Holy fuck, I'd marry you any day."
Buck smiles "Glad to know you like my cooking that much, sometimes I wonder how you and Christopher made it on take out for 7 months before I started cooking for you guys" I laugh looking at him "You bitch, I can cook! I cooked enough for us" Buck goes sits beside me handing me a coffee. "Reheating takeout isn't cooking Edmundo" I gasp and carefully tackle him onto the couch tickling him "Take that back!" He starts laughing and squirming while kicking his legs "Eddie! Eddie! Edmundo!" He grabs my arm to stop me from tickling him and flips us so I was under him. I gasp in shock and look up at him, I just watch him as he laughs. After a couple seconds he stops as he looks down at me.
We stare at each other for a couple seconds before slowly leaning further in together. Buck hops up off me the second there was a knock on my door. I quickly stand up and move over to the door without a word towards Buck. I swing the door open "Ms Flores!" I look back at Buck and then at Ana "Let's uh. Let's speak outside" I smile softly at her and step out closing the door behind me. I walk back into the house 15 minutes later after speaking with Ana, I close the door to see Buck grabbing his car keys "Oh um, Are you leaving? Now?" He looks at me "Uh yeah, yeah. Maddie wants some help with Jee before she heads to work and I got extra time till Albert can get to Maddie and Chims to babysit"  He quickly speaks before rushing out the door before I barley had time to comprehend what he was saying "What? Buck we shou- and he's gone" I sigh.
After two hours of cleaning and leaving food aside for Carla and Christopher and getting ready for work, I grab my keys and LAFD bag before locking the door and heading to work in slight hopes I would see Buck and hopefully talk about the situation this morning. I don't know how to feel, I don't think I'm gay. I can't have feelings for Buck, He's my Best Friend. Plus I'm going on a date with Ana Flores. I groan before dropping my bag in my locker and heading up to the loft to see Bobby and Buck cooking and chatting. "Morning Cap, hey Buck" I look at him and back at Cap. "What you making Cap?" Bobby looks back and forth between us as Buck ignores my greeting, I softly shake my head and he nods "Just dinner, Buck here wanted to give a hand, he's been getting lessons off me, Ain't that right Buck?" He nudges Buck's side to which he nods and puts the towel down, He turns to the sink and starts cleaning
