18. Why?

Midorya's POV
It's been a week and a half since I've been back and everyone's still trying to figure out when I disappeared to. After the first two days I told my mom I was staying at my dads house but only because he said he drive me back home if I didn't let her know where I was. Though was did move to America my dad owned a few apartment buildings in Japan.

He had one of the apartments as his own and whenever he had to go further away from home he's stay there and that was very often, but he always made sure to be there for me despite what you commenters may think. I stayed with him and wondered the streets during the day sleeping in the extra room at night. He tried to sit me down and figure out why I was ditching school and even mom but when I shut down and refused to talk he just sighed and told me I could only stay a week. 

I managed to stay an extra days but he dropped me on campus early Tuesday morning, I went to the dorms being as stealthy as possible once I entered my dorm. I did my absolute best holding back my pheromones as I got changed, I showered at my dads early in the morning. I left the dorm after grabbing my bag exiting the campus hanging out at a near by park plugging in my headphones playing my music as I waited for classes to start.

When I checked the time and realized class would start soon I rushed to my home room hoping Aizawa wouldn't kill me for disappearing, the whole class starts whispering as I go to the door. Immediately my eyes when to Bakugo but I diverted my gaze remembering the events of last Sunday, I speak with Shinsou and get harassed by Todoroki then questioned by the yellow bean himself before finally walking to my seat.

I did my best to avoid any eye contact with Bakugo but at the corner of my eye I saw him wave, my mind and body wanting to do different things and by the time I made up my mind to wave it was too late so I just sat down as the class watched the awkward interaction. During any and every we had I was bombarded by questions from everyone in class which I dodged and when I got tired to talking I just signed still avoiding the question.

Lunch came around and I sat with Shin who a passed out yellow bug attached to him, Todo was gone with Kiri on emergency heat duty. I laugh and spoke with Shin while glancing past him to Bakugo every once in a while, I look away to eat and the next time I glance his way Uraraka, Tsu and Momo were sitting with him though Tsu looked like she was sleeping.

As they spoke Bakugo raised his voice a few times but that was just normal Kacchan behavior and it made me smile a little, but after a few more seconds pass he stands up with balled up fists and yell at the two girls "You two need to mind your own fucking business and Uraraka stop smiling before I bust up your ugly ass face." His yell woke up the sleeping Tsu but she was still obviously half asleep.

I immediately get up and started walking over I could tell Bakugo was upset and that the two were only making it worse, "Maybe it was your nasty attitude that made him break up with you, well it's fitting for someone like you to stay alone since one wants to tolerate you" the two girls stand and Uraraka yells this and I sped over knowing this would completely piss the blonde off.

The first thing I do once there is catch a punch from the pissed blonde and protectively pull Uraraka back, I didn't come here to help her no I came to help calm him down but how I do that when basically tried to beat the life out of her. He looked sad and dazed so I spoke first "What the hell is wrong with you, you were really about to hit her" I sounded a lot me judgmental then I wanted.

My words pull him from his mini trance and we make eye contact for the first time today, my one and only instinct was to hold him be the situation wasn't right. I continued holding his fist mostly because I didn't want to stop the skin contact, he finally spoke up "S-She started all this shit so he'll yeah I was" I know he was right but I didn't know what else to say so I drop his hand shaking my head to keep myself from hugging him.
