-Chapter 008-

Love made me crazy.

"Suddenly all my thoughts were about you"

Scarlett could recognize JJ's voice anywhere.  JJ could recognize Scarlett's laugh anywhere. 

Scarlett woke up and got up from her bed, she got ready and left the house, she saw JJ and was gonna go to him but a guy approached her, "so whats your name?"  the guy said asking Scarlett, "none of your business" Scarlett said walking to JJ, "so you dating anyone?" The guy asked, annoying her, Scarlett got fed up and looked at JJ.

JJ walked over to her and said "i see you met my girlfriend" JJ said smiling putting his arm around Scarlett's waist, Scarlett got butterflies. Scarlett looked down and smiled, the guy went away and Scarlett hugged JJ. "Are we doing anything fun today?" Scarlett asked walking with JJ, "the others wanted to meet up near our chateau" JJ said pointing over to the others. 

They both walked to the others, the all walked in and started talking, "Topper is so mad at me because of John B" Sarah said looking down, "its okay, i would leave him too" Scarlett laughed trying to lighten her mood, but it was not gonna work.

"Do you guys smell smoke?" JJ asked looking around, "i smell it too" Scarlett answerd getting up, "fuck, the chateau is on fire" JJ said pulling Scarlett and getting everyone out, he made sure Scarlett got out first and she helped the others. 

They both sat outside watching the chateau fall apart, "who would do this?" Kie asked looking down putting her head on Sarah's shoulder, "i don't know but they can go to hell" Scarlett answerd looking at kie. 

"as long as we are safe, its okay" Pope said looking at everyone. "yeah" they all said together. They all got up and walked to the beach, "i have a feeling its topper" Pope said looking around, they all looked at pope and realized, "oh my god, i am going to kill him" Kie stated. 

Scarlett sat down with Sarah and they both talked about Topper, "i don't even know why i defended him" Scarlett said putting her head back.

"My parents are hosting a party and i can invite anyone, you guys wanna come?" Scarlett asked looking at the others, "sure" JJ smiled. 

"Is topper going to be there?" Sarah asked, "probably" Scar answered. "i will still come" Sarah said, "for you" She added. 

It was night now, the party had started, JJ walked in with kie, Scarlett looked at them and her mood got ruined, but she smiled and walked up to them, "hey guys" she said giving Sarah a drink, "feel free to get anything" Scarlett said smiling and walked back.

Topper came to her and spoke, "hey Scar", Scarlett looked at him and ignored him, "what happened? Topper asked confused, "our chateau got burnt down and we know its you" Scarlett said walking around, "look Scar, i was mad at Sarah was leaving me" Topper defended himself and Scarlett laughed, "oh please Topper, shutup" She said.

Topper kept following her so she stopped, "Topper stop" Scar said annoyed, Rafe came from his back and smiled, "i missed you Scar" Rafe said looking at Scar, "well i didn't" Scarlett said trying to get away. Rafe took her by her hand and pulled her inside. 

"Look Scar i know you like me" Rafe smiled, "look Rafe, you cheated and hurt me, i am not going back" Scarlett said backing away and going out, Rafe saw JJ looking at them so he took the chance he got, he gave Scar a kiss on her and head and smiled, JJ walked away with his head down. 

Scarlett ran away and went to JJ, "JJ you won't belive this" Scar said, JJ looked at her and walked away, "JJ?" Scar said walking to him, "are you going to tell me about you and Rafe?" JJ yelled, Scarlett looked at him confused, "what?" She stuttered, "I saw you and Rafe, he kissed you on the head and you both walked out of the room" JJ mumbled backing away. 

Scarlett realized and looked at him in the eye, "no, no, no, he forced me in and-" before she could finish JJ spoke over her, "just be honest, you and Rafe are something now?" JJ asked looking at in the eye, "no JJ, i would never and if i did why would you care huh? just go to Kie, she will make you happy" Scarlett said, JJ looked down, "have you seen the way she looks at you and the way you look at her?" Scarlett added yelling.

JJ looked back up, Scarlett was about to leave but JJ said, "Scar, i need you here, don't leave me, please", Scarlett looked back at him, "i might look at Kie like i like her but Jesus Christ, i looked at you like i am inlove with you, the first time that i saw you, i realized how important you were to me, i always had the need to defend you and always be there for, i always denied my love for you but when you are around Rafe, i cannot deny it anymore, i fucking love you, "You. It will always be you. Don't you get that? If i had to choose between you and a million things i have always wanted, I would choose you every single time." JJ said in one breath. 

Scarlett looked at him and smiled, "JJ.." she said coming close to him but the others came, Scarlett walked away, John B looked at JJ and whsipered to him, "what happend?" He asked, "i fucked up" JJ said looking down in regret,  John B looked at him and hugged him, "she rejected you?" he said, "no, she walked away because you came" JJ answerd and they all walked back home. 

JJ looked at Scarlett who was sitting on the ground and admiring the stars, he was admiring her. The stars were the thing he should have admired but his eyes were set on her and only her. 

JJ then looked the other side and walked away, Scarlett noticed him and smiled, she could recognize him anywhere, even in the storm, even in a tsunami, anywhere.
