The other six boys broke into smiles, mixed in with the whoops and cheers from Tae and Hoseok.
"Bangtan?" Sam asked.
"It's what we call ourselves." explained Jungkook, smile as bright as ever.
"Being a part of Bangtan is not like being in a gang," began Namjoon. "It's being a part of our family. We put our complete trust in you, and we expect yours in return. No double crossing or resentment. Got it?" Both girls nodded earnestly, drawing a smirk from the leader. Tae sped over to them and wrapped them up in his arms.
"You're one of us now!" he cheered as all the others joined him in his group hug, even a slightly reluctant Yoongi. It was then that tears began to fill Mia's eyes once more.
"Thank you." she whispered into the cluster of people that have formed around her. "Thank you for accepting us. We won't let you down." Sam laughed at her friend, tears pricking at her eyes as well.
"Ditto." she chuckled.
"Ditto? That's all you can come up with after my dramatic display of gratitude? Ditto?" Mia laughed, wiping her tears.
"Hey, I said what I felt." she shrugged, getting a few laughs from the others around her.
"Alright, alright. As much as I'd like to sit and watch this Lifetime movie, we should get going before real raiders show up." Namjoon directed, gesturing towards the door that had been broken down just moments before.
"Okay, we'll get home the same way we left," Jin began, picking up his supplies. "The babies'll take the girls back on the bikes, and we'll take the truck."
"Okay, mom." smiled Jimin, picking up his stuff along with the others.
"How many times have I told you to stop calling me that?"
"When you stop calling us your babies." smirked Jungkook on his way out the door.
"Well, they're not eating tonight," he scoffed, sending the two girls a wink before heading out the door. They followed him, watching the five of the older boys climb into the truck.
"I miss the Iron Horse." mumbled Sam into her friend's ear as they watched the truck speed off.
"Well," said Jungkook, gesturing to their bikes.
"Let's go." smiled Sam, leading her friend over to the two boys.
"Y'know, today was my first time ever on a motorcycle." mused Mia randomly, her eyes running over the vehicle.
"Really?" asked Tae, his eyes went wide.
"Come to think of it, I've never been on one before today either." hummed Sam. "And I didn't even get to enjoy my first time...with all the, you know, terror and theft." she pouted.
"Why didn't you say so?" smiled Jungkook smiled, swinging his leg over the bike before turning and patting the seat behind him. This time, his helmet remained strapped to the side of the bike, exposing his hair to pushed about by the wind. Mia felt her face flush faintly as she took her place on the back of the bike.
"Ooh~" sing-songed Sam, earning a fierce look from her friend.
"You, too." smiled Taehyung, pulling up beside her on the bike.
"Oh, yeah!" she chuckled nervously, earning a scoff from Mia.
"Ready?" Jungkook asked the two of them. Before and answer could be given, Tae wasted no time, taking off with a huge groan of the engine. Much laughter was heard from him as he turned back to stick his tongue out.
