The small nap from the night before led to me fully passing out and waking up at 5 in the morning. It wasn't unusual for me to pass out for long periods, but waking up so early was somewhat a pain for me since I'd just lay in bed and stare at the ceiling for hours with nothing to do. After an hour of doom scrolling and stressing over assignments I haven't done yet, I finally got the energy to get up and get ready for the day.

While finishing my hair, the small fur ball curled up on my freezing toes stretched which tickled at the moment.

"I have classes starting at 8... hmmm and lunch date with Rae...mmm I should make dinner later to- wait, do the Daemos like chicken?" Through mumbles and quiet whispers, I fixed up any loose strands before grabbing my glasses- the plastic sliding down the bridge of my nose; Gently shuffling Maple off my feet as he growled up at me.

"Sorry little buddy, but I need to get you fed and then head out." He mewled in anger before swiping at my leg before running out the room, sighing at the little dramatic king. After fighting on a pair of socks, I wandered out of the room with all my things in hand.

Backpack full of paperwork, house keys, wallet and earbuds in hand, I peeked down the hall to see barely anyone here.

'They are probably still asleep or something-' I yawn before jumping at the sound of Ava's bedroom door opening. Blinking owlishly, I watched as Ava was only dressed in the skimpish sport bra and short shorts- mind you in the freezing morning- marched out whilst pumping her arms in a jutting motion. She was never one for mornings, peaking at the small clock seeing as it was barely 7. She turned to me once I cleared my throat, seeing the surprise on my face. "Um... good morning?"

"Ah, [Name], hi! Where are you going?" She looked me up and down, probably admiring my outfit for the day, hand picked for the courses I have as well as the freezing morning temperature. "School, I won't be back until later. I'll make dinner when I get back, um... any preferences?" Excusing myself, I search the fridge for my water bottle, a light snack to hold me over til I reach campus, as well as seeing what I would need to get on the way home after classes. Ava only hummed, thinking hard before waving her hand and pulling out her phone.

"You make great food anyways, so I'll eat anything you make." I couldn't help but get a little flushed at the complement, smiling as I'm finally set to go. "Well then, what about pasta with chicken? I saw this recipe on Pinterest that looked really good..." Peeking at the time, I worried that I might become late if I stayed any later so I hurried to the door.

"Alright then, see ya later. Call me if you need anything. Also- feed the cats today, it's your turn anyways!"

At the entrance, I find my shoes ready for me and take the time to leave, not once questioning why Ava was even awake. I could hypnotize a change of heart but I highly doubt that. This was Ava we're talking about, she only did things that either benefitted her needs or because she was forced to. Either way, my curious mind couldn't help wondering what she could be up to. 'I'll ask her after school,' reaching the bottom floor, I shuffle my phone playlist to fill my quiet walk to the station. Sighing, my eyes strain from the bright morning light as I'm already mentally tired from just walking out the building.
