Days passed, with Yeonjun trying to do his best in all the work given to him during the daytime, while returning to Soobin's house in the nights. To think of it as a normal routine now that both the boys were close enough to share random hugs throughout the days was quite the thing. Yeonjun had brought a bag filled with his stuff including his clothes and apparently settled them right along with Soobin's clothes.
They used to eat together, breakfast and dinner, and on the day when Yeonjun was lucky enough to spare some time during lunch, he'd visit the cafe. Even the people in the office, the employees could see how better their COO had been looking, almost alive, with those sunken cheeks coming back to life, and those eye-bags slowly disappearing. Yeonjun had gotten healthier overall, better at expressing, better at feeling, he was getting healthier whether it meant emotionally, physically, or even mentally.
He was now known to Heesung, the brown-haired boy as he called him, not to mention he didn't fail to notice the glances Beomgyu and Taehyun threw at him whenever he left the office or was caught smiling during the meetings.
Days were better than before, surely, but that didn't mean his pain and the all too familiar gnawing darkness left their grip on him. During the nights, when Soobin would be late or simply busy with his work, Yeonjun would find it hard, to sleep, to even breathe.
Yet, the blue-haired boy was with him every single time.
It got overwhelming sometimes, having someone to care for him, while the shadows of the wicked remained at the borderlines, waiting to capture him.
The weather had turned almost a greyish-dark greyish even during the day, rid of all colors, and was slowly irking him, and yet whenever he found himself in those same arms, of the particular blue-headed boy, he couldn't help but let his angle cast out his own sunshine and discard off the gloom surrounding them both.
Yeonjun had gotten so habituated to having the boy beside him, around him, that even during the day he couldn't help but try and call and see if Soobin was free enough to just talk to him,
He wasn't prone to speaking a lot, and thus, he enjoyed listening to the boy's voice, that sweet voice that reminded him of the spring,
Soobin to be described in mere words, it was purely not so sensible, it didn't make any sense to Yeonjun and yet he couldn't help but notice the tiny little qualities that summarised up the younger.
