Instead of running away, and hiding like he usually would have done, after talking his heart out with Soobin in the night, and even explaining the reason why he despised winters in the first place and was still horrified over the fact that the season's first snowfall was around the corner, with the temperature constantly dropping to the negatives, Yeonjun felt better than ever.
It was as if, he got rid of a heavy stone that had been kept over his chest and was restricting his breath.
It was almost as if, Soobin's warmth, the boy's cuddles, the boy's smile, his eyes, his face, his figure, his cooked dishes, his drinks, his desserts- Yeonjun could go on and on making a list of the things which made Soobin special in his eyes.
And even without them, Soobin, the blue-haired boy simply existing was enough for Yeonjun to go all down on his knees, in front of the lords to thank them for sending an angel to him.
Soobin was quite the one to joke about it, later on, in a sarcastic way as he said he was no angel and yet it seemed Yeonjun was prone to seeing the illuminated ring, the halo band weighing down over Soobin's head, lightning up his whole world.
Since it was Christmas time, with the holiday around the corner, a week from today, Yeonjun was quite silent about the whole fancy thing.
He didn't speak about it, said nothing, even though as it seemed, Soobin was dying to celebrate it and Yeonjun just didn't want to get the boy's hopes down. And so he tried.
He tried participating when Soobin began to make a to-do list for the week, with them having to go shopping, a hyper-human-bunny willing to buy gifts for everyone, including whom he knew from Yeonjun's side(the elder had told him about all the important people in his life), with decoration shopping, setting up the tree, and baking Christmas delights, not to mention, movie nights, and matching clothes, along with Christmas eve special celebrations.
As Yeonjun stared at the male, putting up the list on the fridge with a magnet, he couldn't help but feel himself smiling seeing the boy being so hyper, not to mention the way Soobin just looked like a child, something which Yeonjun couldn't help but admire him for.
