One Summer

what do we do now

sophies pov 

me and jj were just standing there looking at one and other 

'what do we do now.' he said 

'do you want to come back with me.' I asked 

'yeah I do.' he said 

we both walked to my car and jj shouted to John b that he was leaving 

it was only 7pm and I was starving 

'do you want to stop at the store get some snacks we can order a pizza and watch a movie.' I asked him 

'that sounds great.' 

after 10 minutes we had got to the store 

'so what do we need.' jj asked 

'chocolate and chips.' I say and he just nodded

'I am starving.' he said 

'yeah im starving too.' I say 

'why dont I order the pizza the now and by the time it gets to yours then it will be nearly there.' he said 

'yeah do that I am so so so hungry and are you ok with what you are wearing you dont want to stop home to get comfier clothes.' I said 

'yeah lets do that.' he said 

we got to the isle of the store we were looking for and picked up some snacks 

'omg.' I shouts and was so excited 

'what, whats up.' he asked 

'there here, there here.' 

'thats here.' 

'my favourite snack, pretzel they have been sold out for months.' I say 

jj started laughing 

'why are you laughing.' 

'you got excited over pretzels, I think its cute dont worry but its so funny.' he said 

after we were done shopping we headed back to the car 

'do you want to drive if we are going to yours first I dont really know where you stay.' I say

'yeah thats much better.' he said and got in the drivers side 

'how long till the pizza.' I asked him 

'oh it said an hour so we will be back in enough time.' he said 

after that we pulled up at his house 

'hey do you mind waiting in here I dont know if my dads home.' he said 

'yeah I will be here. remember close for tomorrow as well.' I say 

everyone knew that there is something going on between jj and his dad but know on truly had the evidence to do anything about it or help jj 

there was the clues though 

jj always stayed with John b 

he always had some cut or bruise on his face 

his dad had been in and out of jail for years but he was never in long enough for DCS to do something 

and lastly Luke maybank had been known to do drugs 

after that thought jj walked out the door 

'hey you ok.' I asked him 

'yeah im good he wasn't home. lets head to yours.' he began to drive away 

after about 20 minutes of us going way above the speed limit we were at our house
