Please note; This song is quite beautiful, and is for the memory of Paul Walker. I do not intend on this song making sense of the story, but it is powerful and emotional, thus adding the mood to this story.

It's been 3 months.. 3 months since he's been gone. 3 long, lonely, depressing months. He told me he'd love me forever, and protect me no matter what. That's just what he did..

*flashback* 

"The truth is (y/n) I love you.." Delirious said looking at me, instantly sending chills down my spine. "Delirious. I've loved you since the first day we met." I said and he smiled, indeed he showed his face to me.

We where best friends, for two years. That is, until this day. He closed the gap between us, and we kissed.

*two months later*

"I told you two years ago (y/n), I'll do anything to protect you. I mean it more than ever now." he said, and I smiled at him.

"I'm so lucky to have someone like you Delirious." I said still smiling. "Yeah, your so lucky to have me." he said cocky.

I playfully punched his arm, "You cocky bastard." "You love me anyway babe." he smiled a wide smile.

"As you love me hun." I returned the wide smile. "No. I love you to much sweetie." "Not as much as I love you pookie." "I love you so much I'd die for you my teddy weddy babe." "I love you so much I'd rather die, than you honey bun."

"I'm serious (y/n)." he looked at me seriously. "So am I Delirious." "Please don't ever do that (y/n), I'd rather it be me than you." I was about to say something but cut off by his lips on mine.

*two MORE months later*

"Yeah Vanoss, we'll be there in like 20 minutes." Delirious said looking at me rolling his eyes, making me laugh. He hung up and said "He's so pushy." laughing his infamously famous laugh.

I couldn't help but to smile, and chuckle along with him. Just then I got a text, pulled out my phone, not really looking where I was going, that's where everything went to shit. Everything became my fault..

I was crossing the street, not looking where I was going. Just like that, in what seemed like seconds, but looking back on it, it seems like forever.. I heard Delirious yell out.. "(Y/N)! Look out!", then THUD.

I was pushed out of the way of a car speeding right toward me, I later found out the guy was drunk and high off his ass, "Del-Johnathan!" I screamed running to him.

It seemed like everything was happening in slow motion, then fast, then slow again. I dropped to my knees beside him, and started crying like crazy, trying to scream for help, but was useless since I couldn't find my voice.

"D-don't cry (y/n). Please." he just about whispered. "No Delirious. Your not dieing!" tears streamed down my face now.

"It's fate babe." he whispered now. "No! No it's not! You'll be fine!" I tried to pull out my phone quickly. "(y/n..)" he whispered quietly. I looked at his beautiful blue eyes, not a single tear.

" I-love you." "I love you too." I kissed him quickly, but made it last. He smiled.

"I- told you- I'd protect you no- matter what..." That was it.. The last time I heard his voice. "No! De- Johnathan! Your not died!" I kept screaming, and crying.

*Flashback end*

Now. Three months since that happened, I'm sitting here reading our old texts, smiling and cracking a small chuckle here and there. Then came across one that really got me 'I'll protect you no matter what babe, I promise I'll always be there for you :)'.

I threw my phone on the chair near by and fell on the floor crying, I quickly pulled my knees up to my chest. "You told me you'd always be there! You told you wouldn't leave! Delirious you lied! I told you it should have been me! I miss you.." I screamed into the empty house...

Oh man.. Now I'm sad.. :(.. I'm sorry if I made you sad.. It's not the story that got me, the song.. It really got me.. I listened to it a bunch of times before, and only shed a tear once, but now I have a couple in my eyes. It just so.. aw man. I should just go..
