Third person POV
Brian and (y/n), where the 'techys' of the Navy ship. (y/n) doesn't know Brian outside of the ship, same goes for Brian. They are in love with each other, but neither will tell one another. Their tech ship mates joke around about Brian loving (y/n), which always makes (y/n) blush because she knows she loves him. To make things more uncomfortable, or uneasy, they share a tiny room together.
(y/n) POV
"(Y/N)!! (Y/N)!!" My bunking buddy, who I am also in love with, Brian yelled shaking my bed. "What?" I mumbled into my pillow. "Wake up! We got solo duty today. Come onnn!!" His Irish accent sounding quite thick, when he said that. I groaned and stretched my legs out, hitting him.. Umm, you know where.
I burst out laughing "Are you okay?" I said between laughs. He just glared at me, "I'm sorry." I said truthfully once I stopped laughing. He smiled at me, damn.. That's what has me, those dimples. "Its okay I guess. Meet me in the lab once your readddyyy."

"No, it's engine bay 1." Brian was talking in his headset. I walked over to him to see bay 1's engine was failing. "For gods sake man. 1, the first one. The first door." he said annoyed. "Well, that's not good." he said giving a worried look. "See if engine 3 will start?" I suggested.
"Watch yourselves, I'm starting bay 3." he said pressing some buttons. I watched the screens, as bay 3 didn't start. "Damn it." I mumbled. "I'm aware. It didn't start." he said annoyed again. "Hey (y/n), can you radio the captain?" I nodded and did so, "Captain, we got a problem here."
"What kind of problem?" "Engine bay 1 failed, and bay 3 won't start." I said looking at Brian who had a worried look on his face still. "Captain?" I asked without hearing a word from him for 10 minutes. Then suddenly.. BOOM. Brian instantly threw off his headset.
"What the hell was that?" I said starting to panic. "My guess would be that the engine's exploded." he said quickly trying to find out what just happened. "Captain!?" I called again. "Shit. Brian, would if the Captain is dead?" "Don't think like that." "I'm pretty sure somebody died! The people in the engine room!"
"Stop. We don't know what it was yet." he said calmly as possible. "What?! You threw off your headset once that happened. What do you think it was!" I said getting loud. "Calm down! We need to figure this out calmly!" he said loudly back to me. I quickly went over the the screens, to see the worst possible thing ever. "Brian... There is a hole in the bottom of the ship!"
