I AM WILDCAT {♪ | 1 - x reader| ♪} Sometimes.

If the love of your life was right in front of you your whole life, would you know it? Or would you still try to find love?

"(Y/N)!!" My freind for a year and half, Tyler, called from the sidewalk. "Hey Ty!" I called back leaning over the balcony railing. "You busy? No? Great. Get down here, we're going on an adventure!" "What kind?" "Just get your ass down here!" he called getting annoyed making me snicker.

I made my way to the sidewalk, not telling my parents where I was heading off to. One because I'm almost 19, and two because they don't need to know where I am twenty four seven. Why do I still live with them then? Well because they are too strict. Never letting me leave is getting to be a bit much. Which is why I sneak out. Which is also why I want to find my 'prince' charming, so he just get me out of here..

Oh the dreams. "How are you today?" Tyler asked starting to walk. "I'm okay. How about you?" "Great." With that we started off on our adventure. I already knew where we where heading. He always likes to go this look out spot just to talk, I'm pretty sure no one else knows about it. Just out of curiosity I asked him "So where we heading?"

"Usual spot." Yep. I was correct. Hmm. He's actually only doing small talk, we always somehow end up in a conversation about something.  I wonder whats on his mind. Looking at him I started to wonder whats he's thinking about. Maybe another girl.

Without anymore talk, we arrived at our 'secret spot'. Sat down on the grass and I just looked out at the city lights. "Sure is beautiful up here. Even still." I said trying to start a conversation. "Yeah. Even after a year of looking out." he said looking at me now.

"Okay, whats up?" "What do you mean?" "You've been small talking it since we left my house. You obviously have something on your mind. What is it?" he sighed. "Remember the first time I brought you up here? I told you where the first and only person." "Yeah.." "I never told you why." "Why..? I was the only person you brought here?" "Yeah. Your the only one because I don't want to share this with anyone else but you." he said looking at his feet.

I couldn't help but to smile. As much as I wanted to scream 'Aww!!', I held myself back, instead saying "That's actually really cute." he looked at me with a small smile. He mumbled something I couldn't hear. "Hmm?" "Ugh nothing, I said.. You better get back to your house before you parents know your gone.." I nodded. I know thats not what he said.. He never says that. Something is still bothering him..

♪  The next day  ♪

"(Y/N)!! Get back here!" my mother yelled with anger. They just found out I went out last night. How? I have no idea. Right now I was out on the balcony, once again wishing for a prince to come and whisk me away. 

"(Y/N)!" I heard Tyler call from below. I looked at him. "Just jump! I'll catch you, trust me!" 'Trust me', how many times have I heard that before? To many times, to many times I've been lied to, but this was Tyler. I truthfully could trust him, it was that moment I realized I trusted him with all my heart. 

I looked down at him with worried eyes one last time before I closed my eyes and jumped. I'm not even going to lie, it felt like forever. I felt like I was die. Instead of hitting the ground hard, and my life flashing before my eyes, he caught me.

"Told you you could trust me." he said with a slightly cocky smile. He continued to carry me to his car, and weirdly putting me in. "You know I could have walked." "You where already in my arms soo.." he said starting the car and driving off.

We sat there in a comfortable silence for a while before I spoke up. "Why did you rescue me?" I didn't get an answer only the sound of the car. "You know something crazy (y/n)?" he asked breaking the silence. "Hmm?" I looked at him, he didn't take his eyes off the road, but only for a quick second did he look at me. 

"Sometimes the love of your life is in front of you your whole life." "Sometimes realizing it can be to late.." "Sometimes it's never too late." "Sometimes I get an answer." "For what?" "Why did you rescue me?"

He sighed. "If the love of your life was right in front of you your whole life, would you know it?"
