"Omg Ian takes so long to get his stuff", Ray groaned.
"Oh come on your just being Impatient, he isn't taking that long."
"Why are you lying to yourself it's been five minutes", he protested.
"That's true, but he said he had a surprise for us so I'm willing to wait. Also he is buying us fries so another bonus."
" Fiiiine, but I am sure the "surprise" is going to go wrong. Remember when he tried to surprise me with sour patch kids, put them in my bag and they melted all over my notes. I was so pissed."
"Though you have to admit that was hilarious."
"Whatever."
Ian came over to us. Ray scolded him for making him wait. We all strolled over to the café and the park.
"Hmmm these fries could be a bit better", Ray complained.
"Are you kidding they taste amazing", I told him.
"Ok ok you guys I have something to tell you", He took in a deep breath before breaking the silence."
"I got in the team."
Me and Ray's faces lit up with joy.
"Omg Ian really are you serious, I am so proud of you", I congratulated him.
"Dude I knew you would get in anyway."
"It took a lot of convincing but I was really lucky that they had an opening and they had try outs that I could participate in, and I got in. I was so happy."
As time slipped by Ray kept on talking to Ian about how he should never give up and he knew all along everything was going to be all right.
Ian walked over to the bin to throw away his fries. As he did Ray thanked me.
"Why though?"
"Because he was able to push past his fear and do what he loves."
"What was his fear?"
"I think Ian should be the one to tell you that not me."
"Hey what are you guys talking about?"
"Ohh um just how you are such a werido."
"Wow harsh"
My phone vibrated. It was from 9TailedFox.
