???: Y/N

I shot up from my bed and my eyes immediately darted around the room try desperately to find the source of the voice. Please say this I just dreamt it.

???: Y/N

My eyes shot in the voice's direction and though it was a whisper, it felt as if I could hear it from anywhere in house. Once eyes landed to the dark corner of the room which was barely visible, I could only a silhouette. Is this just like before?

However this time it's was different the figure in the corner was more around my height and the voice belonged to a girl. It can't be one of  the Grady twins, so what the hell is in the corner of the room?

???: It's not real...

Y/N: What's not real!?

???: It uses tricks... your deepest fears... not real

The voice I've heard it once before, I mean it sounds a bit distorted but still recognisable.

Y/N: B-Betty!?

The moment the name left my mouth she disappeared. What did she mean? It was a warning that's for sure. Probably a warning for something big and I don't think I'm gonna like IT.

Why does shit like this happen to me?

No ones Pov

The boys that consisted of Bill, Stan, Richie, Eddie and Ben all stood at the top of a cliff in their underwear, spitting down into the water below; seeing who could spit the furthest.

Richie was the first one to spit, then it was Stan, Bill, Ben and finally Eddie. Eddie unfortunately had the Weakest spit, going barely anywhere and look like it was more like a dribble than a spit.

Richie: Oh, my God, that was terrible. I win.

Eddie: You won!?

Richie: Yeah.

Eddie: Did you see my loogie?

Richie: Mine went the furthest. It's by distance.

Eddie: Mass. It's always been mass.

Richie: What is mass?

Eddie: Who cares how far it goes? It matters how cool it looks, like green or it's white or juicy and fat.

While the two were arguing, Beverly with a brand new hair cut arrived on her bike, she got off and gently settled it down with the other bikes.

Before getting their attention, she quickly noticed one the boys missing from the group, Y/N. A huge feeling of disappointment washed over her as he was one of main reasons of coming to the quarry, that and to hopefully make some new friends.

The truth why Beverly was so disappointed was because she was certain she was developing feelings for the quiet boy who doesn't like to draw attention to himself. So she had hope to use this opportunity to get a little closer to him. However she had the whole summer to try, so she brushed away the disappointment and put her focus back to the boys in front of her.

Bill: All right. Who's first?

They were all a little unsure of jumping from such a height, the boys were just waiting for one of them to go first so the others could follow shortly after. Beverly took this opportunity to announce her presence.
