"Eh you know I don't mess with that scary shit" Chris says.
"Come on stop being lame" Casey complained.
"I can ask Kaiyo and Ryan to come if you want some cuddles as we walk through it" I laughed.
"Okay now you both are doing too much, I'm about to not hang out with you two at all for Halloween" Chris says.
"We're clearly playing" Casey says.
"It doesn't matter I was thinking of going to a party anyway" Chris says.
"A party? Over a haunted house.. not to mention a famous haunted house?" I say.
"I just told yall I wasn't into that, so yes a party over the demon house" Chris says as he began walking.
"You're definitely coming whether you want to or not" I say as Casey and I followed him.
"Hey!" Ruby says coming up with her arms open.
"Oh- Hi" I say putting an arm around her.
"You better get to class the bells about to ring" she smiled before walking off.
My friends looked at each other weirdly before looking at me.
"Isn't that like the 5th time she's done that" Chris chuckled.
"Yeah.. I swear her class is the other way. I have Physics with her" Casey laughed.
"I don't know maybe she's just going to her car or something" I say.
"Whatever you say Zoldyck" Chris says as he began walking off along with Casey.
It's not weird.. is it? I mean we do have a lot of mutual places that were in a lot of the time. It's not that uncommon to see someone a lot under these circumstances
I knew I probably just had my guard up too much and if anything, Ruby just wanted to see me more. She's a good friend, I can't let my past experiences effect me too much.
So I simply went to my last class of the day and got ready to go home, with Ruby we were a little carpool duo.
"I didn't have you waiting long did I?" I say as I walked up to my car, noticing Ruby already standing there.
I unlocked it. "Only like two minutes.. it's fine though. I just haven't been having the best day so I was out of there as soon as fourth hour ended" she says opening the door.
"And you're sure your not just being dramatic.." I say.
"Killua!" she says pushing me.
"Okay okay my bad" I say with my hands up.
"Can we just get some food.. please?" she asks.
"Mm well we've been going a lot. You don't have food at your place?" I ask.
"You don't like getting food together?" she asks me.
"It's fun but it's not something we can just do everyday.. you know?" I say.
"Why.. you don't usually go out to eat like this?" she asks.
I chuckled. "I actually go out to eat quite a lot with my family.. but it's with my family so they're usually paying"
"Are you saying you need to save or something?" Ruby asks.
"Not really just tha-"
"So let's go Killua. Please, I won't ask anymore this week" she says doing prayer hands.
