"Go" the announcer said as he fired the starter gun.
I feel like I'd never started in such an erupting way, I was angry and I've been angry before but Killua Zoldyck rubbed me in a whole different way.
Before I knew it I heard the click of the timer and saw the end of the finish line.
I looked back at the time keeper. "Time please?"
"11.2 congrats" they said.
"Thank you" I smiled.
Time to go
"Was that a new PR?" Jenson says running up to me.
"It could've been, I don't know" I say.
"Uh don't you think you should find out" Jenson says.
"Only thing I want to find out is where the nearest sub place is" I say as we both walked over to Mito.
Jenson chuckled. "If you say so"
"That was brilliant dear, what was your time?" Aunt Mito asks.
"11.2" I say.
"Is that a new PR?" she asks.
"Thats exactly what I said" Jenson says.
"Probably I don't remember my other one, I had it written down somewhere. Can we please get food!" I begged.
"Oh lord, you're impossible Gon, you could at least say bye to Coach Maniella" Aunt Mito.
"Her name is Mani, Aunt Mito" I say.
"You know I call her Maniella, I like her full name, let's go talk to her" she says.
"I can't believe you're doing this right now. Jenson you're gonna let her do this?" I say in disbelief.
"She's the queen" Jenson says as he does a bowing motion.
"I sure am, come on. We can even go speak to Kikyo and Silva" she says.
I gasped. "Mito!" I say.
"I'm kidding" she laughed as we approached my coach.
"Hey Mito how have you been!" Mani says giving my aunt a hug.
"Great Maniella it's great seeing you. Hopefully Gon isn't giving you trouble" Mito teased.
Mani laughed. "Only issue I have is not seeing him enough, we'rent you guys suppose to warm up with us?" she asks me.
"You know you don't care about that Mani, especially when I'm gonna be leaving. I only agreed to run the 100" I say.
"Uh when did we discuss this? I told Da Vinci you would be here the whole day, you better get yourself an energy drink" Mani says.
"Mani!? What? You're kidding" I laughed in denial. "Yeah you're kidding, see you Monday" I say.
"No I am not Mr. Freecs, you leaving will not be good publicity" Mani says.
"So now this is about my reputation.. ugh. Okay I'm staying" I say.
"This is why I tell you to communicate! Sorry about that confusion. I will pick you both up lunch and you will stay here. I'll be back Maniella it was great seeing you" Mito says.
"You too!" Mani says.
"Thanks Mrs Mito!" Jenson smiled and waved.
Mani shook her head at me. "I'll see you at the 4 by 100" she says before walking off.
