Every day the same thing

There he stood... Waiting... Was he waiting... He looked trapped

No one could see him

Only me

There I watched

He looked at himself through this mirror

I could see him saying to himself, another day... Another outfit...

Am I alive... I feel dead inside.....

Could've been yesterday when it all happened

But it was years and years with the same thing

There I stood watching

I tried to make him smile but he frowned even deeper

Something happened when he returned that day

His anger came out and he punched the mirror

Within the cracks his blood spilled

He gave me life

As he fell I slipped inside him

He was more than empty he was gone

There I was as he

Now it's ...me

Boy was I ready

Who he was died

Who I now am lives and I plan to do something

I gripped on filling the carcass with my essence

By morning I awoke with a start

Should I go out or stay in

I should go out... Hmm... what to do...?

There I was moving walking... Going somewhere

Where to —who cares

I was out late at night

Around the alley way two thugs stood

I once lived before how could I forget how thugs looked

There they stood with their pot on their lips talking nonsense to me

There I was ignoring them

I walked by reaching towards my home

One gripped my shoulder and said, hey! Punk we asked you something don't you know how to respond

I stood still not trying to say a word

He shook my shoulder then turned me in the direction of the other guy

The other guy approached me ready to knock some sense into me

I was ready I knew how to fight but this body was flimsy

I was ready for a round... Or two...

I smirked ready for the thrill

The guy holding my shoulder pushed me towards the ground

I almost fell

I shook it off

His scent disturbing my senses

My fury grew

I flipped

There I stood two against one

I watched them closely

When I reached towards one I gripped him tight then I gripped the other

Something inside unleashed

They both fell to the ground soul-less

Their eyes empty

So this was... living
