People gathered from all around

Everyone wanted to know the news

A man stood alone almost ghostly he had just lost his only son

One day he had him then like a cup of coffee there was no more

He wandered there looking hopeless and a deep yearning to hold his son's hand again

What he would do to have his son back

Out of nowhere like magic a boy held his hand

He looked at the boy and it felt familiar yet the boy didn't look anything like his son

Something in the boy made him feel as if he had another opportunity to have his son again

He lead the boy back to his house the boy hadn't spoken yet

But he followed along

This boy wasn't a boy

That the man would find out

Time went by

The boy called him pa the man felt elated

Everytime he fed his joy towards the boy he gave parts of his soul away

The boy fed out of his love for his son

Days went by and the man couldn't get up no more

His body shriveled and became almost lifeless

The boy took his true form and a dark figure loomed above the man

He then found out too late that he should've let go of his son

He only fed the entity now it had life

His lone tear for his loss was the last thing he had

His real son watched without being able to reach his father

His son also shed tears for his father's loss and how he fell for that sick trick

Just because someone is gone doesn't mean they stop watching over their loved ones
