Hiiii! Okay, okay, I know the video attached suits the chapter 'The Stank' more, but- you know- just go with it. It's a good way of showing how the characters feel in this situation. And also long chapter warning.

Theresa Fowler wiped her brow and stared hard at the beast in the distance. It was almost evening, but even so, the Sun still shone brightly.
The colossal dragon made it look like he was trying to destroying everything in sight, but when she looked closer, it didn't look that way at all. The monster was...lost. It was lost in winding paths of tall buildings with no life anywhere. It demolished a lemonade stand and its tail was raised high, as if it was hopeful.
But then there was just more empty, long streets and another bunch of buildings. The dragon's tail smashed the ground that cracked the road and set off several car alarms. It roared in frustration.
Theresa could almost see it crying, if it were a person. Which, she reminded herself, it probably was in the first place. She sighed. There was almost something like pity stirring. She lifted her head from behind their hiding spot to get a better view of the monster, but a dust-sooted hand pulled her back down.
"Are you crazy? He's gonna obliterate us if he sees you," hissed Geoffry.
Theresa rolled her eyes and ducked as soon as she saw the monster's head turn in their direction. Meanwhile, Howard was half talking to them and to himself. He was also working out a plan to save their butts as well as the whole of Norrisville.
Geoffry sighed. "So that's a...stanked person?"
Howard smacked a hand to his forehead. "Yes...I mean no, but maybe, huh? Nonono that can't be right. Red stank...?"
He began to pace, his face scrunching up. Sweat started to drop from his forehead as it always does when Howard Weinerman panics. When he started to hyperventilate, Theresa quickly said: "Calm down. Just tell us what you know."
Howard faced the two teenagers. If he could, he'd tell them everything, from Randy's identity as the Ninja to the Tengu. But he couldn't. So he told them part of it.
"Right. Here goes. I know-definitely- that the dragon out there? Yeah- that's Cunningham."
Geoffry had to stuff his knuckles into his mouth to stop himself from yelling. Theresa, however, nodded. "That makes sense. He goes almost nowhere without you. How do you know that's him, though?"
Howard thought about it. "I saw him turn into the thing. But not on purpose..."
"No one turns into a monster on purpose," Theresa cut him off. "But I've always wondered where that green stank comes from. Is it...evil?"
"I...guess you could say that." Howard began to fidget. Was he giving away too much of what he knew? Would Fowler and Rupert get suspicious if there were holes in his story?
"But the thing is, I saw red stank sortta possess him..? I think so. I was there when it happened. And uh, it sort of mixed together with a bit of the Tengu's spirit."
"The what spirit?" Meanwhile, Geoffry was rocking back and forth in the background, whimpering, "What, is there something else I'm supposed to know about in this insane town?"
"Remember that time when there was a giant bird thingy attacking the school during Spirit Week?" Howard continued as if Geoffry hadn't spoken.
"Yeah?"
"Well, that was me." Howard was both half ashamed and proud to admit it. (Ashamed because he had been a destroying monster at the time, by also proud because he Tengu was pretty cool.)
George's has dropped. Theresa sat up. "Whoa, that was you? I didn't know your stanked form could be so extreme."
Howard sighed. "Whatever. The point is- I wasn't stanked. I was possessed."
"Huh?" Theresa was totally taken aback by Howard's statement. Geoffry, having given up trying to protest against the seemingly impossible fears in Norrisville, raised an eyebrow.
"Have any of you guys heard of the Tengu?
Something clicked in the baton twirler's memory. "I remember reading it up in a book about Norrisville's myths and ancient history. Well sure, there are a lot of wires stuff happening in this town, but I didn't expect something as terrible as that could exist."
"When the Tengu possessed me, I felt like I was totally controlled by the thing. But then...I saw Cunningham getting both stanked and possessed."
"How is that even possible?"
"Well..." Howard had a theory, but part of it included revealing the fact that there was a power-crazy maniac under Norrisville, and things would get even crazier. He had to chose his words carefully.
"Maybe," he hesitated. "Maybe since the stank is evil, it sort of allies? With - with the bird demon spirit?"
"But why him? Why Cunningham?" Demanded Geoffry suddenly.
Howard licked his dry lips. It was possible that the Sorcerer had singled his best friend out when he smelled his scent. Cunningham probably reeked of Tengu and the Ninja. "I..I'm not sure."
"I also do have a plan. Since the Ninja isn't showing up, he uh - he probably got hurt or something. But then, his mask will be somewhere in the school, right?"
Theresa crossed her arms. "Yeah, but what are we gonna do about it?"
"Well what if... we use the mask and the Tengu to...fight back?" Howard immediately cringed. That was crazy! No way that would work-
"That plan is so crazy it just might work."
Theresa and Howard were stunned to hear those very words out of Geoffry's mouth. The ground suddenly shook while a roar echoed in the distance.
"Wow. For the first time since you've been here you're actually talking sense," whispered Theresa.
"Whatever. More action less talk, shoobs!"
