The morning sun shone through the windows of the school and on to Lucy's soft peachy skin and reflected off her brown eyes. It was a couple minutes before first period, Lucy had her hair curled with a bow in the back since the assembly was today she wanted to look her best. Natsu was always caught dazing off and staring at Lucy. Wasn't Lucy a nerd? Wasn't he a Jock? It didn't make any sense. After her past experience with love she didn't want to be heartbroken again. As soon as the bell rang everyone headed towards the assembly hall. When all the students were seated everyone was quiet but the tension in the air between Natsu and Lisanna could be felt very clearly.
a Staff member walked to the middle of the stage and tested the microphone and brought out a tall stool. The principal was a small old man with a beard and mustache and had a striped hat on. The small man did a flip in the air and landed on the stool still barley able to reach the microphone. "Ah hm. Is this thing on?" The speakers were clearly heard so the small man brushed off his uniform and continued "Principal Makrov here, before we discuss the back to school rules and regulations and such we have a guest speaker." the principal took a card from his pocket and read it aloud. "Natsu Dragneel?" the small men spoke into the microphone looking around the assembly hall. The pink haired jock stood up and walked to the small stage. He helped Makrov down from the stool and he stood next to Natsu. "Everyone knows that me and Lisanna have been dating and I want to confess who my real love is-" Lucy looked down in annoyance. 'Another stupid confession just to hook up with a bimbo' she thought. Natsu was interrupted by the principal who tapped the highest place he could reach on Natsu, his knee. "Mr. Dragneel? I thought this was about the back to school assembly." the small man said crossing his arms and looking up at Natsu.
"Yes, but before that. Lucy Heartfilia come up to the stage." Natsu said in a stern voice. Lucy's cheeks turned bright red from a mix of confusion and embarrassment. The blonde lifted up her skirt so she could make her way through the seats and on to the stage. As she walked up the stairs to the stage in front of the whole entire school Natsu twirled her around and into a deep kiss making the blonde blush brightly, her eyes wide as saucers. "Nat-Natsu!" Lisanna screamed and ran out of the hall in tears. All Lucy could do was look at Natsu, then back at the huge crowd and suddenly everything went black as her head hit the Stage's Floor. Before that she could hear Natsu yell for her in concern and the whole school burst out out laughing..
