After a couple weeks of hanging out after school and sitting next to each other Natsu and Lucy were just really good friends. Lucy loved going to Natsu's apartment, it was nice and cozy and he had a cute blue cat with small wings that knew how to talk. Natsu said he learned by listening to Him but Lucy was skeptical. The girl finally had a friend who understood her and loved her for who she was.

Lisanna and her friends didn't bother Lucy instead just played pranks on her, at least that's who Lucy suspected when she found holes in her gym shirt and a mountain of whip cream in her backpack. She didn't tell Natsu since it wasn't a big deal and the jock would make it one. The blonde thought it was cute how protective Natsu was of her and always teased him for it. "Lucy!" she could her a voice echo through the hall. She could see Levy almost trip as she ran up to her locker. "Levy? What's wrong?" Lucy asked closing the locker after gathering her books for her next class. "Didn't you hear! They're handing out tickets for the Spring Fling!" She said excited. Lucy had planned to just hang out with Natsu since he wasn't really in to those kind of things.

But Levy had become good friends with Lucy and looked up to her like a sister, plus she always kept her up on the latest school drama. "Guess who I heard is gonna ask you!" The blue haired girl asked barley able to keep her excitement in "Nat-" before the blond could answer the girl did for her "Gray Fullbuster! The captain of the Ice hockey team!" She said smiling ready for the blondes reaction. Instead all she could do was stand there with her mouth open. The creepy guy in swim class?! Levy couldn't be talking about him. "He bragged about sitting next to you in swim class!". It was him.

Lucy was surprised that she was getting so popular. She had started wearing contacts and showing off her breasts more, even if it was just in her school uniform. Mirajane had taken her to the mall the other day and bought her some new clothes and gave her makeover including new contacts. The blonde was thankful but looks didn't really matter to her since she was more focused on succeeding at least it had been. But now she felt like she was becoming more like a popular girl. She had been working hard to reach this goal all for one person. Natsu.
