That same day at lunch Lucy was invited to sit with the cheer leading squad, the most shocking thing? Lisanna invited her. The blonde walked to the table in a state of confusion sitting down next to Mirajane who was only eating a small salad. How does she survive? "Lucy Heartfilia." Lisanna said, sitting across the table and facing Lucy. The blonde looked at the younger girl. "It seems you're getting very popular with the guys." Lucy had been getting hit on all the time now. It was kinda annoying actually. "What I'm I here for?" she asked starting to take a bite of her lunch "Fine, I want you to join the cheer leading squad." the girl said looking away and crossing her arms "What? Why?" Lucy said almost spitting out her drink.
"Everyone has a clique, the clique you join depends on social standing. Since you've started rising to the top of the food chain you need to join us since it will increase the popularity of the squad." Lisanna said smirking.The girl next to her nodded in agreement. "Forget it!" Lucy said annoyed. Mirajane stepped in "You would get to hang out with me more." she smiled. "Well Levy already asked me to join the book club." Lisanna and some other girls chuckled. "Sure, if you want your social standing to drop." the snow haired girl said. Mirajane nodded "I have to agree with her Lucy, High school is a tough place." Lucy looked down with a frown "Well." was she really considering this?
"I'll think about it.." the blonde said just as the bell rang. As the girl was walking back to class she felt a tap on her shoulder. "Hey Lucy! Sorry I wasn't here I was sick-" Natsu's eyes widened as he saw Lucy turn around "Luc-Lucy?" he looked in shock at the blonde "What happened?". Lucy looked down biting her lip, "I got contacts." she said nervously. "Hm, well you look beautiful either way." he said smiling and hugging her. "See you later Lucy!" he said heading off to class. Lucy had finally reached her locker and saw a couple flyers taped to it. "The swim team wants me to join there club?" the blonde looked at the flyer curiously "Hm, seems like Juvia Lockser is the captain and asked me personally." The girl took a look at the next flyer "The fencing team too?" Lucy looked at the bottom. "The captain asked me too? Maybe Lisanna really is right about this popularity thing. Erza Scarlet? I think I've heard of her..."
